Let me take a td and decide. My commute to office is 70% highway and rest city. Speeds around 80kmph so avy looks comfortable but I am taking td of all and then decide. Until then fiero jai ho

abhilashabhi12, with a post count of 844, i do suppose you are a more mature biker than these new(er) guys. I expect you to make a more informed decision, And the AS will never satisfy you. The RTR is a beast, and the 150AS is such a weird engine, there is no power lower down. At all. If you intend to ride it at the redline all day, then go ahead. But remember, there is no low down power. Honestly, its a bit like the R15 in character. Only top end. And that has its fans too, so, yeah, its upto you.
And buying this after an RTR is a step in the backward direction, IMO. But much less vibes than the RTR.

PS: Extra info added, objectionable language removed.

If you expect a good cruising bike, trust me, go for AS200 and be happy with the power and punch that it offers. However AS150 won't disappoint and it offers good for the money you pay, but with AS200, you can do 80-85 kph at just ~5600 rpm, doesn't that sound sweet for you?.

The more less RPM you ride, the less amount of vibrations and rider's fatigue but more comfort...!!! 200-300 kms doesn't matter at all. Trust me...!!!
              Make a good choice.

Stop guys...!!! @HyperRetard, please stop following/quoting up threads. Leave it to them. Let the respective owners share about AS150. We know AS150 is slightly under powered considering Gixxer, but AS150 has it's plus which Gixxer doesn't. So let owners share it

@Sankha S.r.nand @REMOAS150, please do not follow up and share only useful information for new AS150 buyers. Thanks

                  Re: Bajaj Pulsar AS 150

Guys, this is an ownership thread and it should be treated like one. xBhp is an open forum and not Facebook where anybody can come and brag anything.
There are many young bloods on the forum who obviously think they're the smartest and then we have some not so young bloods who react instantaneously!

People visit the forum to gain insights on the bikes and their ownership experience, not to read petty posts.

Motorcycling is a continuous learning experience and with time one would understand that just 100 hp of power doesn't mean it's a lot; what matters is if the 100 horses are usable at all!

Any more OTs/flames on this thread and the user gets banned!

Check the ODO reading (should be <50), scratches on tank/body panels, air pressure, lights, horn, indicators etc. Take a short ride to ensure that the handle doesn't sway (improper fitting), engine oil level, coolant level (if applicable) etc.
