If not possible with svc, please do change oil at least yourself. If not, do it in a nearby workshop. Oil change is very mandatory, forget warranty. Insurance will cover still

                            • MY All New Pulsar AS 150 (Adventure Sport)

One question was troubling me all the time...."But which one?"

It was a long awaited dream came true. Its time to take a step and purchase a new bike.
                              But which one?
This question was troubling me all the time. Started searching over web for bikes.
After a long search i shortlisted three motorcycles.
                              1. Bajaj Avenger
                              2. Bajaj Pulsar 150 (old one)
                              3. Honda Unicorn 160
Even after shortlisting, still the same old question was troubling me a lot.
                              Which one?
There are three bikes in the list and only one has to selected...
                              Now which one?
After a discussion with my wife bajaj avenger was removed from the list as the Headquarter (my wife) said no to Avenger

Now we had two bikes in the list.
I consulted few friends of mine who runs automobile shop. They suggested me to go for pulsar. They told me few points
                              1. Top selling bike
                              2. Strong engine
                              3. More power
                              4. Got good look

On the other hand for Honda unicorn
                              1. Very less seen on the roads.

                              3. Average look

I wrote application to my Headquarter(wife) for Bajaj Pulsar AS150 with image.
and guess what. It got approved.
We visited showroom and got quotation on 27/Jun/2015.
It was love at first sight. On the same day we booked red color by paying 5k.
To my surprise showroom guy gave me the keys of the bike when we booked it. Only one machine was available at that time so he gave me the keys just to convince me that no one else will take trial or touch this bike further.
On 29/Jun/2015 we visited showroom and made full payment. He took keys from me and prepared bike for delivery.

They asked me to select a number, and they fixed

                              No more auto Cancelling Indicators.
you need to press center button to stop indicator, giving right side signal is easy but to pull it left side is little difficult...due to Cancel switch in between. the moment you pull it left side with your thumb. the stop switch also gets pressed along with it. and makes it stop.

Exhaust is placed under body which makes this place open and prone to trouble. Small mistake can lead to a big accident. No guard is provided, though option is available but guard is not available at showroom.

                              Small and effective.

Earlier in P150 Old i used to get pain in my wrist and elbow, but in AS150 that pain is gone.
Riding is very smooth and delicious like butter chicken
Good Fuel Efficiency around 50-55 KM/pl

                              • Re: Bajaj Pulsar AS 150

                                for vibration levels
Till 65-70 (5-6k RPM) There no vibration. very smooth.
after crossing 70 little vibration starts only in bare hands, if i wear gloves i feel less vibration. (i guess this much vibration is normal),
after crossing 87-90 vibration becomes null, you won't feel any vibration. I took my pulsar to MAX 97 km/ph.
i have ridden older pulsar 150. vibration is lesser than old pulsar.
i feel more vibration when i apply front break.(may be due to brake more weight transfers to front wheel),
I'm using nitrogen gas in tires.

                                while
off roading i feel little pain in my hands (wrist and elbow) (i believe its due to my low height I'm 5'5. and on this bike seating position is high ).

                                Now Completed 3600 Kms.
looking forward to change Engine oil from bajaj dtsi to Motul 5100 10W50.
                                Fuel efficiency is 50-55 Km/pl.
