Hey - that's exactly what I was thinking - i'm just a bit worried about getting it to fit under the seat.

Get the full face (no half face/modular lids) if you love yourself. It may not fit the storage compartment, but you'll stay safe.
        Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

My full face helmet fits perfectly in the storage compartment the chin of helmet facing towards to the tail end. I suggest take your scoot and purchase the helmet so that you can test.

I have ridden 90km in a week, and it will be around 450km in a month. So should I get the service done earlier?

Re: Yamaha Fascino: Owner's Reviews and Experiences

Yesterday serviced with Ashoka Yamaha my odo clicked @980 km. The SVC guys are not that courteous but ok kind of attitude.

I have told them about the harsh sound of scoot and acceleration response. And asked them to fit ray-z's hook, loose mirror problem and weak/loose front forks.

They have called me in the evening that my scoot is ready to pickup. But i was busy in a hospital as my family member was hospitalised since a week. So opted to take delivery by next day morning. Also enquired about drop facility. They said they will charge Rs 200/- for that(need some light from you guys).

So went to svc in the morning to pickup and the guy who serviced it handed over it to me. And said Ray-z hook is out of stock. And i have asked about tuning of the vehicle. He said its done. So i have taken a test drive and found out the scoot is smooth but not butter smooth. And the weak/loose suspension is taken care and acceleration is improved.

After the service went to registration office and paid some 1250/- including HS number plate. They said come after 10 days number plate will come in 10 days!

I have encountered the engine heat problem again. I think its heating like the first few hundred kms. Is it normal or need to take this to svc guys?

Also i dont know weather they have changes gear oil. Is this a problem related to heat. They only charged me for oil yamalube - 255/- and consumables 60/- total rs 315/- And also they did not changed air filter. Is that ok?

Re: Yamaha Fascino: Owner's Reviews and Experiences

At close to 4000 kms on the scoot, I can say I am extremely satisfied. Although the same can not be said for the svc people's attitude. During the second service, i distnctly asked them to not to change the oil as it was fresh, i changed it only 200 kms before. But they changed it to the utterly useless yamalube oil again without my permission. On top of it, they kept the scoot overnight without my prior acknowledgement. When confronted the floor man started fighting. A lot of words were exchanged and rest assured that is the end of my association with yamaha grand svc, cuttack.

Coming to the scoot itself, it is doing wonderful. The performance of the scoot did suffer badly with yamalube engine and gear oil, but once they were replaced, I have not had any issues whatsoever since. It pulls effortlessly, can go all day without fade, gives an average between 55-60 kmpl if ridden sane. What more could you ask for?

Is it better than a Bullet then?

4000 kms done. Now thinkng of some cosmetic changes. Are the maestro bar weights removable?
