I saved these pics in my mobile and search every shop in my area. But none of them had it. Then I had to make it myself & with a little help of my friend. Damn, that was hard as I never did this kind of work before and my friend was making fun of me as I was struggling. Damn, I wanted to nulls clash with him at that point. Anyway, I successfully made this handle or rail and now it's easy for my grandpa to sit behind me and taking its support. Love you for the idea bro.Originally posted by Janesh.J View Post

Kawasaki is superb...best..Fam..Am fan...!Originally posted by Janesh.J View PostRe: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Infact dealers ask upfront 1L booking amount (non-refundable) incase the buyer cancels the booking. Another thing is what i believe is that black being a slow moving color, the company may be pushing dealers to sell black stating blue out of stock, but all this is just an assumption..

Grab rail fabricated. The drawing on top is approximate as it was tweaked in real time after fixing on the bike.

The suspicion w.r.t. dealer pushing black is reasonable. But its actually the opposite case this time. Even i booked blue. Most of the blue stocks(read at factory since no dealer keeps the inventory now) were finished early Feb. I booked blue color but black is the only option left. Even i had to give the nod to go ahead with booking for black in Delhi.

I didnt test ride it, but I sat on it for the fun of it while my bike was being serviced and its lightweight and upright position...Good beginner bike. These bikes are fairly new, keep in mind. Don't get mad about dropping a shiny new toy. And check insurance rates on them because they are newOriginally posted by mandoo View PostRe: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I haven't ridden a ninja 300 but I have the honda. It's night and day. When I say thinly veiled danger I'm trying to describe the fact that the bike isn't a new rider centric experience like the 250's were and the Honda seems to be. The R3 has the potential to damage you at the first chance you give it. Compared to a 600 or a 1000, yes tame but if you ride it hard it's less forgiving than its counterparts. GBWhatsApp

The tail tidy is out of stock on both Amazon and their website, will order the spools meanwhile. Thinking to buy the K&N Airfilter too.

Hello,
My bike is completely stock and I even though I have only driven about 500 kms, I feel the need to add few essential accessories: tank & traction pads, swingarm spools, frame sliders, brake lines, tail tidy and maybe a slip-on exhaust too. With aliexpress out of commission, I was wondering what are the other good alternatives? The ones on speedmonks.in, and superbikestore.in seem expensive and I'm not sure if they are worth it. Also, do the R15 and R3 have any accessories/parts in common? Seems like the R15 accessories are readily available. Thank you in advance! And I'd love to be part of the whatsapp group as well!Last edited by vkrishna; 02-24-2021, 10:44 PM.

Re: Bike sub-model
Thanks a lot! Very helpful.Originally posted by Ivin View PostThat is the sub code for R3 for India. All bikes get a sub code(which is usually different in different countries) apart from the bike name itself and this is normally for internal usage and usually not known to the customer. The attached pic shows the code for 2016 model, which is 2YS1(This is from the part catalogue). S2-S3-S4 probably notes the year change of the bike.
The part code and main code for the R3 is 1WD, if it may help. This code is used right from the time the R3 was on the drawing table and is same worldwide.
I am surprised that this is included in your insurance as mine doesn’t have it, nor I have seen it in much of any R3’s insurance papers. But no harms done for it being there.
