Even if he isn't selling nothing to worry . In Pune we dont have any Mojo showroom but still many bikes are delivered and registered here . Test Ride is arranged at home & bike is delivered at home (HOME DELIVERY :P ) Will connect you with the concerned person from Mojo sales team when the vehicle will be available.

Some other big motorcycle brands who knew what's got into the bike, were even surprised how the mojo xt was priced so competitively. But it's been very challenging for the company. Because it is a big giant like Mahindra, they were able to do this. Had it been some small player, they'd have to shut the business and go.
The production cost has gone higher up now. And a company cannot be selling motorcycles at a huge loss for too long.
Hence the mojo abs in the current set up was what worked out for the company on which they'll make some money, but that too is very little. And in terms of rideability it's amazing.

To guys who say the bike misses USD forks, look at R3, Ninja 300 and even ninja 650. Don't they have telescopic forks ? And look at their pricing too! Way more than mojo. Yes they are twin cylinders, but the mojo being a single gives the feel and refinement levels of a twin. Torque produced by the mojo too is the highest for any 300 cc motorcycle available in the country.
And what about the BMW 310s. They come nowhere close to the refinement levels of mojo. The 310R is close to 3.8L. and 310GS is 4.6L on road Bangalore. You pay there just for the badge. No disrespect to them. I've ridden the bigger BMWs and they are pinnacles in their segment. But the 310s aren't great at all. Priced ridiculously high here in India despite of being manufactured in India. They're cheaper than the KTMs in Europe. And the apache 310RR is around 2.8L on road Bangalore. Yes the bike is decent and has a brilliant chassis resulting in great handling. But it rattles so much! But this the paid media will not tell you. A few big media houses too have been biased towards the bigger brands. But Mahindra 2 wheelers doesn't believe in buying the media. I'm from the motorcycle industry and I've seen this happen. Unfortunately this is the truth. And please don't think that I'm just being biased towards the mojo. I'm a biker first and respect all well made motorcycles. If any motorcycle is good, I'd appreciate it. One of the bookings for Mojo abs has also come from an Apache RR310 owner who gave his bike on exchange and has been patiently been waiting for his mojo abs since 6 months.

Other examples, the Duke 250 ex showroom is 1.97L, RC200 that comes with single channel abs and much lesser power and torque and smaller brakes and way smaller tank is 1.90L ex showroom.
That way Mojo's pricing with superior build quality and ride quality is justified.
So dont keep products like dominar as a benchmark which most of the paid media is doing. It's very hard for any manufacturer to price like Bajaj. I've owned Bajaj and KTM bikes. They do a lot of cost cutting and parts sharing across their models. The Dominar might seem good on paper and that's what gets most of the Indian janta crazy. But bring a dominar that's done 50000km and bring a mojo that's done the same, you'll see the difference in engine refinement and build quality. And I've met many dominar owners who'd suggest the mojo over the dominar.
Many dominar owners regret having not ridden the mojo before buying the Dominar Many didn't even know mojo existed. Almost everybody who's bought the mojo has ridden the Dominar. But vice versa doesn't happen as much. Most of mojo owners have ridden both the bikes and chosen the mojo over the dominar. They've paid a premium for a relatively smaller and newer motorcycle brand. I do blame Mahindra for the lack of marketing. But they too had limitations with the losses they made. Hence what they did was let the bike speak for itself which might not get immediate sales but on on a long run yes.
And I'm pretty sure it will happen. How many people even know that Mojo has raced in raid de Himalaya (considered the second toughest rally on the planet after Dakar rally) twice and have successfully completed and received podium finishes twice there? How many people know that a lot of Mojos have done over a lakh Kms? One rider even completed 1.7 lakh Kms in 3 years. How many even know that Mahindra is the only Indian manufacturer to have raced in Moto 3, the 250cc stepping stone to Moto gp. and couple of riders who raced on the Mahindra MGP30 are currently even racing in Moto gp. Mojo does have a very strong cult following. Maybe smaller in numbers but very strong. Mojo's customers' are it's brand ambassadors. So many mojo owners simply love their bikes. Have such strong connect and emotions over the mojo. Big brands like jawa had similar emotions. A proud mojo owner once said they he'd never sell the mojo and keep it for his kids just like how his dad kept the jawa for him. That's how strong the emotions are for the mojo and I'm pretty sure a lot of you feel the same too.
Hope the top management of Mahindra realizes this too soon.☺
    You missed out cb300r.

    Welcome, Farhan & other riders!

Your presence here is much needed for prospect buyers like me and others to make a well informed decision. We can't deny the fact that Mahindra isn't putting all efforts to market the product well, in same time, owners of this fantastic machine can engage here and grow the community.

I'm eagerly waiting for test vehicle to be available in Delhi NCR. Hopefully, I should be owning one by October'19. Till then, look forward to informative posts and be motivated.

    Cheers!

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences

    Hi All ,

Good day to the biking fraternity . I am Vignesh from Bangalore owning a mojo XT300 which I bought in Dec 2017 from Bangalore NAFS ( mojo exclusive showroom ). Previous to Mojo I was owning a RE classic 500 EFI model but sold it within 1 year because the bike was screwed up by the service technicians ( lack of technical knowledge ) . Then I was in the intention of buying a Dominar 2017 model ABS but finally with my friends reference I went to NAFS motors and took a test ride of Mojo . Once I sat on the bike and opened up the throttle I decided this is the bike I was destined for . For me personally Mojo felt more premium than Dominar . Mojo is been a very much under rated bike in the biking fraternity as it lags promotions from the management but I think it might be a strategy from Mahindra to let the product to speak for itself . " A good product is a promotion by itself " . Yes mojo stands tall for its own promotion .

After owning the bike for these 18 months clocking over 20K km I think I can give my feedback on this beautiful machine .

    Pros :

    1. The looks of the bike is a head turner for sure . When ever I take the bike to my hometown they ask if the bike belongs to litre class engine .
    2. The bike I can say it's loaded with a eyebrows rising package - USD forks , the bumblebee headlight , Rosso II tyres from Pirelli , Dual Exhaust , 27bhp and 30nm of torque , 320mm of front Disc and 240mm of rear disc for J.Juan . In these features many of them are imported parts from Spain .
    3. The brilliantly refined engine which can do effortlessy do 140kmph at ease . I have personally clocked 151kmph .
    4. The exhaust note of the bike is music note for this 300 cc segment .
    5. Rosso II tyres which keep the bike planted on the roads on High speeds .
    6. The offset mono shock suspension which give the bike sturdy endurance to dip into the pot holes .
    7. warranty perks which they offer for the bike . ( 2 years standard & 3 years can be extended ) . So never to worry about any issues as Mahindra will be backing us .
    8. The bike itself can be placed as power cruiser as it can do good speeds and offloading very well .
    9. The huge 21 litre tank which can make the mojo tour without stopping for fuel on a long range ( my personal tank range on highway is 630 km ) .
    10. The upright seating posture which gives the rider more comfort to tour longer distance without aching your back .
    11. The strong cult ( Mojo Tribe ) which supports each other in the strong participation of the mojo involved activities and developing a fraternity .
12 . The strong technical Team which supports Mojo . Personally I have been only to NAFS motors Bangalore and they are the best I have seen in troubleshooting your bike and fixing it .
13 . Finally the eyebrow LED DRL's which are eye catchy and the sexy golden tubular frame running through the body with golden USD forks .

    Cons :

    1. The Headlight vision is so scattered . ( I got it fixed by installing LED bulbs ) .
    2. Instrument cluster was not working after 10k km as water clogged in . ( thanks to Mahindra warranty program I got it replaced under warranty ) .
    3. Rosso II tyres which are good for tarmac but not so good for off roading . It also has less tyre life but we have lot of other tyre options available . I now personally user Angel GT 160/60 R17 rear tyre and 120/70 R17 front tyre . I chose these tyres since I do mainly Highway cruising .
    4. Stock Break pads are little progressive hence I went for EBC so I get sharp byte on the breaking and spot on feel when I do hard breaking .
    5. Missing ABS unit on this package . Now the ABS model is going to get launched sooner within august 2019 .

Just took a shorter spin of mojo ABS unit and I felt the below .

The bikes feels so agile as it gets telescopic forks and single exhaust . Its now very much flickable and I can zip through traffic a much lot easier than the XT 300 I own . Even though removing of USD forks the bikes feels more stable with the telescopic forks and Angel CT does it job pretty well . ON spec sheets it is stated that the power is less by 1bhp but in real I didn't feel it ( I assume because of power to weight to ratio ) . Engine as usual its super refined .

Went through certain reviews stating that mojo is missing the USD forks and iconic dual exhaust for this price in the package battle against the other bike is the segment ( Dominar , RR310 , cb300 , RE 650 twins GS310 and BMW 310 r ) .

    1. GS310 and BMW 310r are costly in affordability and doest do that much to the price .
    2. CB300 is also expensive a massive 80K and feature rich but against mojo loses a package of affordability .
    3. RR310 is a nice bike but against mojo loses in terms of engine refinement .
    4. Dominar ( ha ha this machine is selling out in huge number but fails as a product which connects the rider and biker . Quality of parts used is way inferior when compared to Mojo . Mojo has simply Sturdy and Robust Premium quality parts )
    5. RE 650 twins ( I never consider RE as a bike . It's a piece of steel crap . I can say this confidently because before owning mojo I was owning a RE classic 500 )

With all this saying I can say heads-up that mojo is a GEM of a machine at an affordable and I request Mahindra two wheelers to launch a the ABS model with USD forks and dual exhaust . Mahindra Mojo is an awesome product and people are ready to pay for good product . keeping fingers crossed for this to happen .

Happy riding and Safe miles my dear fellas . #MojoGoesEverywhere . # MOJO Xtreme Tourer 300 # MOJO Urban Tourer 300 # MOJO ABS 300
