The power is more or equal to 60watt halogen. Color temperature is around 6500K with no glare and sharp cutoff. Over all I am happy with the purchase. Yet to adjust the focus on the reflector.
How much heat does it generate, normal as the bulbs?

4. i didn't find much different wrt, rpm , old one also does 100kmph @7k rpm , same with New one , only Top speed got reduced in new one and on the positive side the new one has good power distributionnagoo, your answers are to the point &useful except about fi closed or open loop. anyway, thanks for your info. But now I have a big doubt, there is an youtube channel named JTRipper saying in his motovlog that R15S has 2 valve & R15 V2 has 4 valve and both doesn't sport same engine. It is really shocking for me whether to believe this or not
. That youtube video says even R15s has flat response in mid range rpm and very slow in building revs compared to r15 v1. Is R15s has openloop FI system (no O2 sensor) or Closed loop FI like CBR, RS200 & Gixxer SF and Upcoming RTR 200 FI?
If you notice it carefully, you will find that he's always trying to degrade all R15's. So stop watching his videos!

1) Is there fairing vibrations in R15S?
2) Is it flickable and handles good like your R15 V1?
3) Is the fi system same as your old one (open loop)?
4) would you compare the speeds at 8k rpm,9k rpm & 10k rpm at 5th & 6th gear?

Rajarshi Mandal Thanks..I need to ask few things about service, should I pm my questions?Originally posted by Rajarshi Mandal View PostI'm doing 80km/hr @5.2-5.3K. Tires at recommended PSI and it also depends on whether it's windy or not. And at 100km/hr, you will feel less drag than that of naked bikes, but the pillion rider feels the wind resistance if he/she is not sitting parallel to my back.
And the top speed I was able to reach was 122-125km/hr.

1) In top gear, at what rpms it does 80 km/hr, 90 km/hr and 100 km/hr?Kindly reply with rpm and speed.
2) What fuel efficiency one can expect by consistently riding at 90-100 km/hr at 5th gear on highways?
3) Is the windblast tolerable at 100km/hr?
Help me. You can reply in this thread or PM me or you can reply in my "what bike" thread - "A bike only for Touring under a budget of 1 lakh to 1.7 lakh rupees"
And the top speed I was able to reach was 122-125km/hr.

On me getting R15s , well needed 2nd bike for local commute and wife not comfortable on GT , so has to get S model , no other bike comes close with reliability/tech/style to R15. V1 has to sell after owning it for 7 years and 80k kms on odo
