Re: Yamaha YZF- R15 S Owners Reviews and Experiences
Can you compare R15 and cbr250's maintaining and regular service cost...?? I want to know whether the maintenance cost of cbr250 is double of R15's or it is like 20-25% more only.Originally posted by nagoo View Post

Re: Yamaha YZF- R15 S Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hey Guys!
After long deliberation I have decided to go with the R15S. Could you please tell me as to what should I look for while purchasing this bike. I am not asking about the PDI checks. Its something that you as a R15 owner and buyer have identified that is speccific to this bike. Thanks in advance!!

Can you make a small video of your headlamp working with the LED, plus the pass switch, hi/low working so that folks who have these doubts can get idea on what they're looking after.Originally posted by vijaycool View PostThere is no change in wiring connection . Led bulb consist of driver to drive these powerful leds. While pressing pass lamp and low beam is on, both filaments (low/high) light up simultaneously. If you do the same in led bulb , driver cuts the low beam and switches to high beam till you press the pass switch. The moment pass light switch is released high beam will be off and low beam will be on. On the costlier led bulb like luxeon MZ chips one can make both low and high beam will light up.
Cheers!

Re: Yamaha YZF- R15 S Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hello bhpians, mine completed 16k kms but chain rubs with rubber placed on upper side of swing arm. Chain slack seems normal though. Any suggestions? Also checked a friend of mine who owns 2014 model v2 and found his stock chain is 'DID' make. Whereas 2015 R15S has Rolon. Dont know why. Eventhough I used to clean and lube regularly, I am not satisfied with stock chain sprocket.

Sorry, am noob in this section!

Only the HI beam will lit up at that time.
But in Halogens, you can.

It says if I turn low beam or high beam whatever, it will consume only 50W (25Wx2).
The unique feature of these LED is when I press the Pass Light Switch, the low beam automatically switches off & High Beam turns on, like P220s, and that is very good feature of not wasting 100W at that time.
Satisfied after the purchase.

The one I bought also got similar setu up. Low and high beam wont glow together. I bought with cooling belt setup and yours have solid aluminium fin. The led chips are standard generic ones consuming 2watt per chip. Anyways i will check with multimeter to measure power drawOriginally posted by saikatbyte View PostI don't think so.
