stop following those youtube channels , check official specs of R15S , its the same engine , only tuning is slightly improved and new ECU map.

On me getting R15s , well needed 2nd bike for local commute and wife not comfortable on GT , so has to get S model , no other bike comes close with reliability/tech/style to R15. V1 has to sell after owning it for 7 years and 80k kms on odo

anyway, thanks for your info. But now I have a big doubt, there is an youtube channel named JTRipper saying in his motovlog that R15S has 2 valve & R15 V2 has 4 valve and both doesn't sport same engine.It is really shocking for me whether to believe this or not. That youtube video says even R15s has flat response in mid range rpm and very slow in building revs compared to r15 v1. Is R15s has openloop FI system (no O2 sensor) or Closed loop FI like CBR, RS200 & Gixxer SF and Upcoming RTR 200 FI?

1. IN top gear it does 100kmph @ 7000 rpm , 80kmph-90kmph comes between 5.5-6k rpm
2. The new R15 can give constantly around 38-43kmpl in those highway speeds
3. Windblast is not problem in R15

i previously owned R15V1 which i personally felt has little bit more power marginally but downside is i never got anything above 32kmpl fuel efficiency. BUT my New R15S easily i can get above said figures

i had earlier both CBR250 and GT250R with big windscreen/visor but best wind protection i got is from R15 , i guess the design makes difference

to all friends, I need some info & am looking for a bike suited to touring, R15s is also one of my choice as it is reliable and can ride at high speed (100-110 km/hour) for hours.
1) In top gear, at what rpms it does 80 km/hr, 90 km/hr and 100 km/hr?Kindly reply with rpm and speed.
2) What fuel efficiency one can expect by consistently riding at 90-100 km/hr at 5th gear on highways?
3) Is the windblast tolerable at 100km/hr?
