re: Hero Maestro Edge Ownership review and experience
Done second service at 3121 KM on odo, after returning I checked the visor is causing a sound on the left due to a vibration, I submit the scooter again today for the fix now they returned with the same problem and also with another sound from the body (at low speed pickup). Really pissed. Can anyone help how to complaint on Hero or any other suggestion?

re: Hero Maestro Edge Ownership review and experience
What I found is that the sound goes off slowly when the engine becomes smooth. My scooter clocked 925kms as of now and the sound is much much reduced now (the eraser pieces were removed during last service)Originally posted by The Knight View PostHave to do that. Same problem.__________________________________

re: Hero Maestro Edge Ownership review and experience
I bought Hero Maestro Edge this Dusshera.
I took the delivery of the vehicle from the showroom and took a short round. After that when I was removing key, it got stuck. I immediately informed the person at the showroom. He called the mechanic but the key was stuck and I was asked to wait for an hour until they replace it with another vehicle. I got the replacement and finally was out of showroom after 4 hours.
Since the vehicle was not registered with RTO, I was advised to remove the speedometer cable until RTO Approval.
The crr crr sound mentioned here was there for 1st week but as of now it is reduced considerably.
I had to take my Maestro Edge for approval at RTO. So, total travel was about 50KMs prior to the speedometer cable was attached back. Now ODO reading is 112KMs.
I was told that the fuel prefilled at the time of delivery was 1 litre. So, total fuel filled so far is approx 1 + (125/68.44) + (200/69.84) = 5.69 litres
Currently the fuel indicator is at the lowest bar but the bar is yet to blink.
So, the minimum first average is approx. (112+50)/5.69 = 28.47 kmpl

re: Hero Maestro Edge Ownership review and experience
I too have informed the Service engineer about the low sound of the horn when I gave the scooter for first service. However he said that nothing can be done. I asked if we can change the horn for which he said no. Previously I was using Tvs Wego and the horn sound in that scooter was much better than this one hence I wanted to change.Originally posted by The Knight View PostHow to increase horn sound???
Will try again possibilities in the next service.!!__________________________________

It started blinking at around 118 KMs.
That's means from 1 bar to 1 bar blinking, I could ride approx 30KMs.
Current ODO is at 147KMs and I'm waiting to empty the tank.
Current Minimum Average is at (147+50)/5.69 = 34.62 kmpl
Update:
Tank Emptied at 154KMs
66KMs run from 1 bar (88 - 154)
36KMs run for the blink (118 - 154)
Mileage = 66kmpl if we go by company's claim of 1 bar per litre of fuel.
Did full tank but surprisingly it filled 5.6 litres but capacity is 5.5 litres.Last edited by saurabh28; 10-30-2016, 01:12 PM.

re: Hero Maestro Edge Ownership review and experience
Eventhough the Owners manual says that each vertical bar display approx 1.0 litre of fuel but it cannot be 100pct correct all the time.
I have been getting around 50kmpl average (just doing short trips) as such 32.5kmpl what you are achieving seems bit low. Check with Service guys..!__________________________________

Exactly, those vertical bars can't be 100% correct.
I filled full tank, then did 3KMs short trip and stopped bike on slope and on side stand.. One bar disappeared immediately. Then switched off and back on, again full tank.
First average of 35.85 kmpl is good or not? Haven't done first service yet.
