It does even in the first gear. I haven't lugged the engine.
I have tried 2 other FZ25s (of friends) and they don't have this problem. Even, my bike didn't have this problem.

Today, I have adjusted the chain slacks to 40mm and aligned the rear wheel based on the markings provided in swingarm but haven't rode the bike to check for the vibration problem.

"Low RPM and huge vibration", from what I can understand it's just how the engine is tuned and how it delivers power(lots of torque in the low revs, why it doesn't stall and pulls with jerkiness).

You might be lugging the engine by trying to pull away in really low revs and that causes the behaviour, there's no problem with the bike even mine does that, just don't put as much load on the engine in low revs and it won't happen and also it actually is bad for the engine in the long run to lug it like that.

It's completely normal, that's just how Yamaha FI system works.... R15 also does that.

There's no fault, Yamaha bikes do crank a bit longer, no issue in that too, it's just how Yamaha makes them but if it takes like maybe 4-5 cranks to start then there could be a problem with fuel delivery or ignition.

Check swingarm bearings and chaim slackness. ( tight chain causes vibrations ).

Firstly, The thing you stated about priming is true for all FZ25s out there. So, no need to worry.

Secondly, I think the bike doesn't start properly due to the faulty spark plug. Yamaha recommends you to change your spark plug at 10,000kms, i guess. Get the genuine spark plug and you will be good to go

There is huge vibrations coming from the rear of the bike. Vibration is prominent on low speed in every gear (low RPMs). There is no vibrations at higher speeds though.

The vibration is so much that the indicator on rear fender shakes too much and there is also high impact on foot pegs.

Told the SVCs guy but problem is still not solved.

Bike is 22months and 15000kms old.

Any help will be appreciated.

The Masseter comes in two types for the rear one is the regular single compound and the other is a dual compound one. I've been using the single compound type on my R15 since the tyre was launched and I can say that the grip is just phenomenal, that's why I got it again now.
I've used the front too previously when it was only available in the 80/90 size at that time as opposed to the 90/80 that the R15 V2 came with stock, it looked really skinny but the grip was just phenomenal !!

I'm running the stock FY-1 for the front (couldn't find the 100/80 Masseter front here in Ranchi and the 100/80 zapper is just crap) and Masseter-X at the rear (couldn't find the dual compound one, it's the "Masseter-X MCT" I believe).

I also own a FZ25 and waiting for the crappy stock tyres to scrub off, so that I can get a new set of Masseters front and back for it.

Just being a bit greedy for that fat rear look I hope MRF launches a 150 or 160/60 variant so that I can get that rather skinny looking (for how wide the tail is) rear tyre on the FZ changed.

From my experience with the Masseter:-

The Masseter has a pretty rounded profile so the bike will want to lean a lot really damn quick !
It gives a lot of feel about the road surface.
Mileage is good for a tyre with that grip level.
It takes a while to get used to the feel and feedback at first if you want to push it to its limits which can be hard (atleast for me it was).
Wet performance is good for the rear but the front is great in the wet too.
Doesn't get punchers as easily as other soft compound tyres (probably because the thickness of the tread).

Overall its great value for money [emoji108][emoji108] just go for it !
If you corner hard you'll be scraping those FZ peg pins a lot [emoji1417][emoji1417].

Masseters and Michelins, both are very very capable performers.

Nah,you can call on mrf customer care.on their website contact number is given and tell them what you want from them.

They are very good and polite,they will arrange the tyres as per your need just tell them the name of local dealer from where you can collect your tyres.

MRF masseters are very good,I am using them on my p220.grip is superb,braking has become better.
The other thing with masseters is they are hard to find..normaly dealers don't stock them,here in ludhiana I searched for them and was not able to find any dealer who had them,so I have to call mrf customer care and they did made a arrangement with a local distributor and that's how I got my masseters..

Just a quick confirmation. The MRF Masseters are the best tyres for good cornering on a budget right?
If so, is there any specific type of Masseter that I should go for or slap on any available Masseter as per Fz25s size?
