Haha, thought about it, but i don't have good talking skills for that. and there's already a dedicated yt channel for fz25.Originally posted by shahinmr07 View PostBro, You have done so much advanced modifications on your motorcycle. Bro, You have done so much advanced modifications on your motorcycle. I guess you should start a youtube channel on FZ25 maintenance. Keep up the good work.Originally posted by slopegatri View Postthanks, so that means i have to use newer speedometer.
after abs retrofit, i managed to populate old non abs speedometer with abs indication light as traces were already there, all this because i wanted to keep original odometer reading, but on a recent tour i noticed it shows 72-74kph ( don't remember exactly ) @ 4k rpm in 5th gear. so i guess i will have to either use new speedometer or transfer eprom to newer speedometer if i want to have original reading + speed/rpm indication.

Thanks! 45-50 kmpl is in 150 cc territory.Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostYou can order it from Vinayak Yamaha, Domlur. They don't normally keep it in stock.
Congratulations on the new bike.
It depends. I get 31-33kmpl in city traffic. It had once gone down to 28kmpl when the traffic was really bad.
Highway it is dictated by the speed.
60-70kmph => 45-50kmpl
70-90kmph => 38-45kmpl
90-100kmph => 36-38kmpl
100-110kmph => 32-36kmpl
110-120kmph => 28-32kmpl
120+ => 24-28kmpl
All measured on full tank to full tank basis.
I did get 30kmpl when i was riding between 115-120kmph constantly for 200kms, 42kmpl riding at 90-110kmph and 49kmpl riding at 70-80kmph with a pillion. Generally on the highway i get between 34-38kmpl as i like to stick to 90-110kmph.
50kmpl is quite good FE. I never managed to get anything more than ~45kmpl in the city on any 150cc.

Congratulations on the new bike.Originally posted by Anupam Das View PostYesterday I gifted myself a new Yamaha FZ25 Monster Energy/Moto GP Edition just before enforcement of lockdown in Guwahati. Now I have to wait for 21 more days at least to ride it properly. I still have my Hornet 160R with me for its good average(52 kmpl plus) and other positives. What average does FZ25 give?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Actually it's not particular to one brand. Most of the svc's of different brands are the same.Originally posted by 1EIGHT6FOUR View Postit's like Yamaha service guys don't give a damn about bikes, they do what they want to do without taking our problems into consideration, I thought it's only my service centre guys clowning around.
150rs for chain lube that's comparatively less, Its 295rs here in CBE.
once I'm done with the 3rd free service I m going to invest in basic maintenance tools and do the servicing myself.
