Don't think so, problem is the socket is totally different and not available on market. so we have to modify the wiring on projector side. but overall price to performance is really bad it costs around 8k. it's better to just use good quality auxiliary lights or retrofit 2 x 2.5" Chinese led projectors for half the cost and almost 2.3-2.6x output.

Try that. it does reduce small vibrations to almost 0. but on really bad roads headlamp still vibrates a little. we cannot completely reduce the vibrations because inside the headlamp, reflector + heatsink unit is not tightly fixed (compared to halogen reflectors on other bikes) to allow beam adjustment. it's possible to tighten it to a fixed position after proper beam height adjustment. but it requires opening the headlamp assembly.

Btw, it looks like bs6 version is using same projector as seen on mt-15. it's class D headlamp so peak brightness would be around 70000cd. which isn't much higher compared to BS4's headlamp ( 56000cd) although i believe new projector lamp can be modified for much higher intensity easier than current led unit we have.

BS4's headlight looks better than BS6's but BS4's headlight shakes a lot as it appears to be rubber mounted to shield it against road jolts. It will be appreciated if any FZ25 owner has found a solution to stop headlight shaking.

Hi very nicely presented information. I had to do this around 24,000km and mine looked exactly the same.

What I found interesting was there is no mention of throttle body cleaning in service manual. They recommend adjusting idle screw. Then replace throttle body. At least that's what I understood. I always wondered why the factory recommends it that way.

Cleanly done! It's always a pleasure to see, a dirty piece of aluminum become spanking new, satisfying watch after a while, nicely captured too. The next time you clean the injector, use a 12V battery, connect it to the terminals of the injector and use a carb cleaner to feed the fuel intake on the injector, it will start working and simultaneously while pressing the canister, the cleaner will gush out spraying out from the injector, and cleaning itself in the process, this is a great way to clean the injector. Spraying it from outside, won't have a big difference, on the contrary, it can push muck inside, while spraying from outside.

The intake goop can be caused by lot of factors, bad fuel, back fire, and blow by gases recirculation to intake. When oil soaked vapors enter intake they will eventually gum up the throttle body blade or the bore depending on a lot of factors. Bad quality fuel is the worst that can cause excessive carbon deposition and in turn cause more carbon deposition. Also, how well, the throttle bodies/carbs are periodically cleaned also come to play.

Kudos mate, nice DIY.

But I was wondering why there's carbon in the throttle body, asking cause I'd changed the manifold on my motorcycle when she was well over 50k kms on the odo and other than petrol stains I didn't find a spec of black soot on the carburetor mouth. In fact my understanding is that carbon deposit on the intake tract means that the intake valve ain't sealing properly or that your AFR is so off that you're getting backfires.

As for the injector, you're supposed to pressurize the inflow pipe with cleaner and then hook it up to 12v DC current from the battery, that is how its done for cars using the Injector Cleaner machine. There are several jugad videos on YT. Externally cleaning doesn't do much good, I know as once the guy at the SVC superficially cleaned my injector and it made no difference.

completely agree with you, i think they have the same projector headlight setup from mt-15, I hope they have addressed the poor headlight visibility issue.

Older design appears more attractive to me.
