Re: 2017 Duke 250
Hello Guys,
I have recently bought Duke 250 Orange in Pune (Maharashtra) city, I am curious if the headlamps of Duke 390 (2017) will retro fitted to my new Duke 250 (2017)
Please let me know if anyone has done this ...
Thanks,
Suraj

Keep an eye out for the electrical s. They hadn't connected the wires to the rear indicators when they had delivered mine. Other than that, make sure the fluids are at the proper levels. Coolant, oil etc, Also, check if they have lubed the chain. Many other useful tips are in the the PDI thread at the top.Originally posted by kaush394 View PostHey guys , I'm taking the delivery of ktm duke 250 tomorrow.

Re: 2017 Duke 250
Unless the bike is short geared, it wont accelerate much when started in 2nd gear.So i think whatever you mentioned is not an issue since D250 is not short geared.Originally posted by dhamodharan View PostHi all,
Two months back I bought duke 250..mileage around 30 km/l. Now problem is when I start the bike from 2 gear I feel like picking up power less.can you assist me how to increase the pick up power..

Thanks for information bro..Originally posted by Wilson4willy View PostIf the in-gear acceleration is good then there is no such need. Every bike lags if the required gear is not applied. I felt the same in my CBR250R and in every speed breaker i slots to first gear, same is with my presently owned D390 too.

Re: 2017 Duke 250
Yes among KTMs, Duke 250 is beginner friendly due to its comparatively linear power delivery.Originally posted by shibinam007 View Postis duke250 a beginner friendly bike??
Please take a TD and then decide.

Re: 2017 Duke 250
Bought the bike, Duke 250 White, yesterday for my cousin. I rode the initial 70kms and the bike felt smooth. Hope the ownership remains niggle free for him.
