Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
Mine has been through 3rd servicing, temp gauge normally stays at 2 bars. Due to summer the bike does heat up a little and goes till 3 bars eventhough i ride it for only 13km continously.Originally posted by Skanda View PostPosting on behalf of a friend. Ask him to get it checked with the service centre once.

I think it is quite normal for a brand new vehicle to heat up..Originally posted by Skanda View PostNope. The vehicle is just 3 days old. ODO is less than 100Kms.
It will calm down as kms go up..
Ask him to avoid dense traffic till 1st servicing.Regards,

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
The internals of the engine will bed in nicely,The parts rub against each other and achieve the optimum clearance required, after the run in is complete ,say 1000 kms, heat produced will be certainly less, warm up the engine atleast a minute before a cold start ride, may be 15 seconds on a hot engine, allow the engine to cool atleast 10 to 15 minutes, and thats it.

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
Hi all, a new NTorq user here.
Excuse me if the question is slightly stupid, but does our scooter have some sort of integrated/combi braking system?
When I half/full deploy the rear brake, the front brake lever automatically has around 1 inch of free play.
This generally implies combi braking right?
I don't remember reading about this in the brochures.#Shadowfax Apache RTR 180 ABS - 2014 - 2019

Checked in the Brochure. It does have a section(rather note) about SBS (Sync Braking system).Originally posted by Raman Swaminathan View PostHi all, a new NTorq user here.

5th Paid servicing at 12k kms.
Changed Air filter(₹250), Both break shoes (₹460). Scooter feels as good as new with cleaner filter. Total cost just above 1K including oil change.HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
So I recently updated the Ntorq App and upon opening it asked me to install their new app called TVS Connect. It has more features and the app looks good too.
But I found it unstable. I've used the GPS navigation with the older app multiple times. When I used the navigation system with this new one it did not work properly. The display on my Ntorq started blinking. And it said check your fuel sensors.
I'd like to know if anyone else had an issue with the new app. Definitely try the new app.

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
I recently purchased ntorq in guwahati, assam and was charged more than the ex showroom price which was mentioned in the Tvs website. They added extra gst and told me that the prices i.e ex showroom price does not include gst and i have to pay 28% gst. The final amount which i paid was 3000 more than the ex showroom mentioned in the website. so i would like to know whether i was overcharged or the price is alright.

You were overcharged. File a Consumer complaint. Also check your bill or quotation to see if you were charged handling fees.Originally posted by redknight1990 View PostI recently purchased ntorq in guwahati, assam and was charged more than the ex showroom price which was mentioned in the Tvs website. Call up TVS motor customer support and tell them as well.
This is a quotation I recently took from a Dealership here in Hyderabad and you can clearly see that they have quoted an overpriced exshowroom price and also handling charges. I have already made a complaint but havent gotten any response yet. (exshowroom price in hyderabad is 66432)
