Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
not much, maybe +2kmpl.. it depends on how/where its ridden. these scooters usually return on avg 40kmpl.. lower if used for freq short trips, heavy throttle inputs (like gunning it every time), or bad traffic.. or 45+ on a highway at speeds not exceeding 55kmphOriginally posted by Raman Swaminathan View PostWhat is the average mileage the scooter delivers, post second service?
Post the first service, it still delivers around 35kmpl, almost on the dot.
Does it improve?

Came across a quora thread about Ntorq mileage.
Almost all answers had similar words - "35 after first service, 45 after 2nd service.
I was sure this was mostly a TVS social media team exercise.

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
there is a lot of misconception and assumption that some magic happens after the 1st or 2nd service. all they do is replace the engine oil and maybe the air filter. it's not just tvs, many svc and mechanics will tell you that because they are probably irritated at every other guy having unrealistic expectations on fuel economy based on what the company advertises or what their friend claims he is getting.Originally posted by Raman Swaminathan View PostThanks, thats what I felt.

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
Hi guys, i have been away from this thread for sometime now. If in case someone still searching for Ntorq's E-manual, use the below link.
I'm not sure how much time i'll be able to keep that file there, better to download it.

Recently I am facing a issue in which the auto choke is on all the time while riding.
dude try to kick start the machine in morning and leave it on idling rpm for sometime and watch what happens if sound (rpm) is not decreasing within a specific time that means your auto choke ( its temp sensing capacity ) might be smoked out ie is you are looking at replacement orelse it might be due to improper carb tuning ... due to which engine takes time to heat up... mostly it might be a faulty chock .
these are the possibilities from mechanical end.
and
from a practical perspective your scooter might be less driven orelse your atmosphere temperature is very low so the auto chock might be trying to make for that ...

NTORQ RACE Édition Led Headlamp flickering
Hi guys,
I ride the BS4 Race édition of the Ntorq. I read in the specification that the headlights were directly connected to the battery.
I wasn't expecting any flickering. Have you guys noticed any flickering of the all led unit when the engine is idling just after the warmup?Cheers
Vish
