Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
Yes the auto choke issue is a common issue in Ntorq. Please refer 3-4 pages back, its been extensively discussed by us. Sad, that some Non-owners are hijacking the thread and not contributing anything worthwhile.Originally posted by Dinesh.P View PostFor your information Ntorq come with autochoke and there is no physical choke available... And only because of autochoke I have this problem..
Post your complain on official TVS facebook messenger, you will get quick respond. My issue was solved by carb & idle RPM tuning only. Some people, with more serious issue have got their choke replaced.Last edited by sambit; 10-08-2018, 10:40 PM.HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

It's generally because of cold start and don't completely take much serious.Originally posted by fvrhaaaan View PostDear owners ,

*It's a race scooter Which has enormous power similar to Aprilia ,Yamaha 150 cc scooters.
*You can buy it for sure but don't expect a good mileage as it's not meant for that.
*ASC said me that mileage will be around 35-40 .
Anyhow I was eager to buy a geared bike andso moved on buying Apache 160 4v.
Check what your requirements are and choose wisely.

That cold start issue is a big hiccup actually ... Similar autochoke was given in old kinetic scooters which was a miserable failure and in later kinetic scooters they provided with physical choke ..Originally posted by Aswinlogi View PostIt's generally because of cold start and don't completely take much serious.

Holy Ghost, that's scary as hell. You could be potentially robbed in the middle of the night and the scooter won't start.Originally posted by THE LEGEND View PostThe start up issue will haunt you. Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
Bought this scooter a week back and have did odd 250kms till now.. I haven't faced any ignition problems. I'll be parking my scooter outside and in the morning all it takes is single kick to come life ! Maybe they might have fixed this issue in newer lots And yes auto choke is there and it's working just fine for me..
Now coming back to the scooter experience.. Oh boy what do I say, manh this is a beautiful scooter from design to ride quality. Love the soft suspension setup cos it suits our dead roads. As the bike is running breaking in period can't say much, however I felt the rear brake bite is bit less.
Was never much into scooters but after buying this I'm so happy to say that I made a right choice. Meanwhile I'm keeping my Rc390 for Sunday rides.
Got few queries :
1. Looks like there's a gap between the fuel lid and the base part, is that how it is like the design wise ?
2.Thinking of taking this scooter for highway ride which covers 300km in a day, is it fine as it's still in breaking in period !
3. There's a minute click sound coming near engine whenever I accelerate and decelerate, is that okay ?
Let me attach few pictures of my machine :

About that cold start issue, its being tracked by TVS well. they are resolving it seamlessly, if you bring it to the notice of the higher authorities through mails & FB messengers. As of other problems, I havnt faced till now. My Odo is only 2900kms.Originally posted by fvrhaaaan View PostDear owners ,

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
Yep. It Was scary but disappointing a lot. Faced the startup issue just in 5 months.
Now all ok apart from that engine fan noise. They didnt give me the vehicle today, said they need more time.. Facing the worst tvs service. Had jupiter, faced ZERO issue in 2 years.
With NTorq, the issue never seems to stop.

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
Guys, update. I initially posted that I was facing issue with Navigation losing the GPS signal as soon as the phone was kept in the pocket or in the boot. Tried with 2 Redmi phones - same issue. Now when I got a phone from another brand it works prefectly fine. So wasn't sure if this was an issue with Redmi phone or some settings in it.
Anyone any idea on this?
