And on the other front wobble at certain speed i too finally got it [emoji1787][emoji1787].(80 to 110kph) , made a video of same and gave it as proof they acted and engineer tested and checked all the things and finally the front tyre was replaced under warranty. Rode 50kms on the new tyre and no wobble as of now. So clearly not a cone or rake angle issue as we suspected. Few others are also getting the tyre replacement. I for some reason got the sports demon in place of phantom sports comp(same speed rating and size).

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
Yes seen it online in promotional videos, but as per user experience it reduces the power they claim it otherwise , don't know if they have written their own engineering books. and their own old customers for other RE models claims that it fails and last very less.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View Post

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
After which exhaust parody, now comes another turkey. Not sure if it's addressed before. Belt drive with complete sprocket kit for the 650 series.
The video of the installation et al were posted on their Facebook page. Interesting one nonetheless.

Attached a screenshot of the page.

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
The DB killer is effective enough to not catch unwarranted attention actually almost like the stock. It comes to life only above 4000-4500rpm. It has a nice rumbling note which we will enjoy while cruising. It almost sounds like the previous gen Triumph Bonneville 865 with the TOR exhaust. I'll never remove the DB killer if I bought one. This sound is more than enough for me as a novelty factor from the stock exhaust.Originally posted by manimaaran View PostHi! Cool that you got to experience both the exhausts side by side. How effective is the DB killer? Would it be okay for touring? And was the air filter stock on both the bikes?
Without the DB killer it's a racket. Very Throaty and spoils the gentleman nature of the Interceptor. It's takes away the subtle nature of motorcycling.
Both were on stock air filter only.
Cheers

Yesterday evening I was lucky enough to ride two Interceptors with AEW exhausts for a short spin. One had a db killer fixed and another without one.
Yes, both exhausts don't have the low-end grunt of the stock exhausts but the one with db killer had atleast 75% of the stock's low end torque is what I experienced.
Though both the Interceptors revved to top-end a lot more freely than the stock Interceptor though.

DB killers only works for lowering the decibel levels.
