I'll never recommend a aftermarket battery charger equipped mobile holder unless it's built right from the factory. That's why I went only with the BOBO claw grip holder without the charging unit. I carry a powerbank if I ever need to charge on the go, but that rarely happens.

Also try to utilise the auxiliary port in the headlamp unit before connecting directly to battery.

Thanks for the response guys, really appreciate it.

So I thought of trying something out and what I did is turned on the ignition by inserting the Key, Neutral light was not glowing then turned on the Ignition Switch, which did a system check and VOLA! Neutral light is back on. Tried turning Ignition switch and keys On and Off few times looks like its all good FOR NOW. Will keep a close eye on this.

    Thanks again.

What could be the issue, did I blow a fuse or messed a wire somewhere? The cables for the charger directly run to the battery to avoid cutting cables and voiding warrantly.

Thanks in advance and stay safe, cheers! [emoji4]
Could be blown neutral Indicator bulb the tiny green one. Happened once in my machismo and that time it was replaced .
But here they won't be opening the speedo.
I advise you to first remove the charger and any other electrical accessories you have on the Motorcycle then only take it to service center to claim warranty. RE is now making a note of after market accessories installed on the Motorcycle.

    Re: Interceptor 650 Twin

    Hello All,

I just wanted to share my experience I had with Sahara Seats. I was having a lot of issues with my stock seat as I am pretty heavy at around 140 kgs. When I used to take my 2 hr ride to office and back the foam used to completely sink and my rear-end used to hate me for abusing it.

After consulting this forum I decided not to go with the touring seat as people we not very happy with the improvement. After long hours of thought, I decided to go for Sahara seats on Amazon. The seat titled D2 was kind of like a taller replica of the CGT seat. I liked the design and placed the order on amazon for around 4.3k. after that I was in touch with them on whatsapp continuously. The first seat they made was not to my liking as it felt a little flat like the stock bench. I gave them my inputs and they made another one as I asked them to stick to the original CGT type step. The new seat they made was much better. I received the seat a day later and fit it on my bike. Check out the pictures and let me know your thought. I can say that the cushion is much harder than stock and gives much better support.

Even after 2 hours of riding it still feels quite comfortable and my butt doesn't hate me after getting off the bike. I should say though that the foam added an inch or two to the seat height. As I am 6'3" it works for me, but has made me consider bar risers more seriously. You can check Sahara Seats out if you are in the market for a seat replacement. Just a word of caution, they make the base my themselves from metal which can be a scratch risk for the tank. Wish I had paid attention to that. Would've avoided me a lot of paint chips. Sigh!Click image for larger version

[QUOTE=kanahanin;1388691]Hi, guys took the delivery of my baker express interceptor 650 last week, the bike is my first big purchase after starting a job and the experience has been exhilarating. The power available on tap is mind-boggling, it's been at least 3 years since I've owned a bike and compared to pulsar 180, this one is bonkers!

One doubt I had was I have a 20% coupon lying around which I got from the dealership, are any accessories you guys recommend that I should be shelling out? For the bike, I've got fork gaiters and leg guard. Helmet given along with bike is also good enough for me, any clothing and apparel you guys would suggest? I've tried on the explorer jacket at the showroom and the jacket is HEAVY, I'm planning to get a good jacket once I start properly touring but now plans as of now.[/QUOTE

congrats, as yashvi said jackets are heavy, my vote save money and spend it on good safety gears other than cosmetic upgrades for bike, get a rain cover from re they are really good, and you may have to consider for seat upgrade later. So you can get a touring seat right now itself or later, the dealer may give a discount coupon later, i got it now after my second service, going to get a cafe racer seat and cowl.

post some pics of the bike, ride safe, consider break in period seriously.

riding jackets are heavy, there's no way around it, but royal enfield ones are expensive for what they offer, so you are better off with other brands like rynox, check the riding gear thread for more options on that.

But if you're on a budget, then explorer jacket at 3600rs after the 20% discount is good, but it doesn't have any winter or rain liner, so it's not good during winters.

My clutch cable sleeve got burnt due to the clip holding it to the chassis near the right exhaust pipe coming loose, but it appears to be functioning fine. Wondering if I should install the fork gators, didn't opt for them earlier because I view them as a cosmetic upgrade and also didn't want anyone to disassemble the factory fitted forks.

One niggle I've been facing and not figured out is a sudden hardness at times in the front suspension, I end up feeling every single small bump in the road travelling up my arms for short stretches before it goes back to feeling normal again. Hopefully the SC should be able to sort it out.
Engine oil gets black in only few 100kms important thing is the viscosity and quantity. No matter if you use yellowish or redish tone oil it will get dirty by the look.

The suspension thing needs to be looked into. Hearing it for the first time as many are complaining about soft front forks.

To all those potential owners who are reading this thread to get an idea of the twins (interceptor and GT), do check out olx as well. There are many 650 owners who are selling their bikes just because they got bored or not suiting their styles or whatsoever the reason may be.

The bikes are in good condition as they are only an year old, you still have 2 years of warranty left for the extra peace of mind. Bargain and you'll be able to save around 50k on the current price, or maybe more.

Just give a search on olx and you'll be surprised to see almost all in mint condition with full accessories as well. I regret buying a brand new now after looking at the used ones.
