Finally, they changed the front wheel assembly, that is the front wheel disc with tyre and brake disc which came from factory pre-fitted, aligned, and balanced and they just had to remove the old wheel and fit this new one and test rode and finally it sorted out. I got the delivery same day but got to ride it today only and I touched around 90-100 kmph and left both my hands off the handlebar and the bike was stable. I had a doubt whether the tyre could be over-inflated and so took it to a petrol pump and deflated front tyre fully and inflated it to 32 psi of N2 in front with 36 psi at back and rode it at around 90-100 kmph and the wobble did not happen. Could not try higher speeds due to traffic conditions. I am very happy that the issue finally sorted out as I was heartbroken due to this for the past few days. I would really thank people at RE service for their patience and response. I would rate them the best now at least for the 650 twins. Thank you.

Bro me and some of my friends in Vizag and Hyderabad 650twins group people are also facing the same issue... When we leave handle above 60-70kmph ... Its wobbling...
The service center team checked tyre Pressure, allignment, balencing, spokes tightening, cone-set greasing,t-stamp checking,ect... But nothing has worked... Do u know any solution for this? Is this the same front tyre issue like the one u faced?

Saw a really sick 650 interceptor with a lot of Zana accessories and an aftermarket seat on Tuesday at Amritsar.

I have the bluish tinted bar end mirrors fitted on my Interceptor which I bought from local Moto accessories shop. I have seen these available in almost all accessories shops. While the shop owner assured me that they are made in India I am quite sure that they are Chinese made. The mirrors were fitted at the shop itself. I paid about 1000 bucks for the mirrors. One reason I chose them was because the shop owner showed the same mirrors fitted on his own bike and had good words to say about them.

Anyways the mirrors are black powder coated. Build quality is decent. It has been ten months to date. I live within 500 m from the sea. There is no rust anywhere. The powder coating seems to have faded a bit in areas where the bar end mirrors have rubbed against my garage wall. One of the mirrors had loosened but I was able to tighten it with the Allen key that came with the mirrors. The adjustability is also decent.

While I had my doubts about the bluish tint being of some practical help I actually found it quite good. At night you are not blinded by lights of vehicles behind which used to happen with standard mirrors all along. And I have started to appreciate this little gimmick. Also the curvature on the mirror is good and it covers a decent filed of view. This is a major difference compared to the OEM flat mirrors.

Frankly I installed bar end mirrors primarily for their style quotient. But I have now got accustomed to them so much that I shall continue with them and see no reason for changing them. These are good VFM when compared to the OEM ones

There are many cheap alternatives available on Amazon but there is no assurance of their quality. Hence I would recommend that you visit a good accessories shop and choose for yourself. Ask and clarify your doubts and haggle a bit. At least fitment would be done by a pro with good tools.

    Hope this helps.

The RE ones are good for nothing, i have them on my gt, they are over priced, and they have plain mirrors instead of convex mirrors, which results in the view being very narrow. I'm enquiring for my friend's interceptor.

Looks good. Where did you source the seat cowl from. I can see that the tail light also has changed. Plz list out the mods that you have done and are planning further...I am also planning to follow suit...

Anyone faced such an issue and can u pls guide me.
Mine was due in April first week but, i got it done in mid july no questions asked. There was extension if service and warranty by company under lockdown but if the lockdown in your city where the bike is being serviced lifted then it depends in that. You need to contact your service center and shoot a mail regarding same to royal Enfield and request a extension for the same.

I got my 2nd SVC done today and this time from a dealer in my hometown, Mangalore(I reside in Bangalore). The bike has barely run 2K kms but crossed the 6 month mark last week. A few things that I found rather strange-

    1) The instrument cluster would regularly fog up and this time it had left a permanent mark on the inside of the glass- brought it to their attention. They say a replacement under warranty takes 15-20 days. Is this normal/true?

    2) The SVC center guy claims that chain lube/cleaning is default for all service intervals and not something that we can opt out of. I don't see this mentioned anywhere in the periodical maintenance section of the manual. Are these dealers allowed to dictate such rules - is there no one from RE monitoring this?

I do not have an alternative. Karnataka has only 2 company owned outlets/SVC centers and they are in Bangalore. Who can I reach out to with my grievances.
