Also I saw a GT650 with the easy clutch in my area and the clutch operation was so soft and easy compared to the stock. Is it advisable to change this? Will there be any side effects on the clutch or gearbox later? Please suggest. Thank you.
Metzler and Timsun seem to be the brands of choice which have generated positive response. I am also facing the same issues as you. The final solution would be to change the tyres when they are due.

I am waiting for the tyre change to look at putting an end to the wobble problem.

Absolutely advisable if you'd like a better clutch pull feedback. Has zero clutch or drivetrain effects as such. This is basically like a mediator between your clutch cable and yoke, so basically the clutch cable still does the duty. Make sure your clutch cable is lubed once again if you end up installing the easy clutch system. I would strongly recommend it.

    Cheers!

How much Acko general insurance cost?
I took insurance from United india at my own selected idv with zerodep at a very attractive premium via policy Bazaar.
Check with pb, coverfox and acko. Coverfox helps with claim process too.

I wasn't looking to spend much so i picked up the United one , if ever a claim is needed then i might need to do one or two rounds of their office.
Very few companies provide cashless claim in two wheelers.

I still think the Pirelli tyre to be the issue and it happens only after some 4000 kms on the tyre. Initially I found this issue after 4000+ kms and had the tyre change and the issue was fixed and now again the same issue. I guess this is the case on all INT 650s but many would not have checked it. New tyres will not have this issue, check after some 4000 kms and you should surely find this. Just go past 80 kmph and slowly take off both hands from your handlebar and you will see the handlebar wobble starting slowly to a heavy wobble that will scare you. The wobble will reduce and vanish once the speed comes below 80 kmph. I have not tried this past 100 kmph as this is really scary. Mine is a BSIV and the new BSVI owners can give their inputs whether this issue persists on their motorcycles too. Also owners with other brand tyres can shed some light on this issue. Thank you.

Hi brother, did you check for this issue recently and how many kms have you done after the tyre change?

Is it costing too much or Just fine, or are there any better options available.

I found one aftermarket rear suspension offered by Tec Bike Parts, which claims to reduce the seat height by 2 inches.

Has anybody used such a suspension to lower the height of the interceptor 650? Would be happy to hear any views about this product.

    Cheers!
This would be expensive after considering the import duties and shipping , yss offers similar stuff at around 60k+ sold by LRL motors.

The bar end mirrors that I have are quite rigidly mounted to the handlebar. The mirrors are set as per my height and riding position and all the screws have been tightened very securely eliminating any movement. The fit is so tight that I never try to adjust the mirrors on the go. Hence if any minor adjustment is required I stop do it and then go. But that eventuality has risen only once or twice till now. Plus no one rides my bike other than me and hence no fiddling around happens.[emoji847]

On a lighter note, if on Indian roads you are maintaining 100 kmph and touch 120 kmph once in a while, being overtaken is a very remote possibility. At least it has never happened with me when I am on the highway on my Interceptor.[emoji16]

    Hope this helps.

While the shop owner assured me that they are made in India I am quite sure that they are Chinese made. The mirrors were fitted at the shop itself. I paid about 1000 bucks for the mirrors. One reason I chose them was because the shop owner showed the same mirrors fitted on his own bike and had good words to say about them.

Anyways the mirrors are black powder coated. Build quality is decent. It has been ten months to date. I live within 500 m from the sea. There is no rust anywhere. The powder coating seems to have faded a bit in areas where the bar end mirrors have rubbed against my garage wall. One of the mirrors had loosened but I was able to tighten it with the Allen key that came with the mirrors. The adjustability is also decent.

While I had my doubts about the bluish tint being of some practical help I actually found it quite good. At night you are not blinded by lights of vehicles behind which used to happen with standard mirrors all along. And I have started to appreciate this little gimmick. Also the curvature on the mirror is good and it covers a decent filed of view. This is a major difference compared to the OEM flat mirrors.

Frankly I installed bar end mirrors primarily for their style quotient. But I have now got accustomed to them so much that I shall continue with them and see no reason for changing them. These are good VFM when compared to the OEM ones

There are many cheap alternatives available on Amazon but there is no assurance of their quality. Hence I would recommend that you visit a good accessories shop and choose for yourself. Ask and clarify your doubts and haggle a bit. At least fitment would be done by a pro with good tools.

    Hope this helps.
