Hello All,
I just wanted to share my experience I had with Sahara Seats. I was having a lot of issues with my stock seat as I am pretty heavy at around 140 kgs. When I used to take my 2 hr ride to office and back the foam used to completely sink and my rear-end used to hate me for abusing it.
After consulting this forum I decided not to go with the touring seat as people we not very happy with the improvement. After long hours of thought, I decided to go for Sahara seats on Amazon. The seat titled D2 was kind of like a taller replica of the CGT seat. I liked the design and placed the order on amazon for around 4.3k. after that I was in touch with them on whatsapp continuously. The first seat they made was not to my liking as it felt a little flat like the stock bench. I gave them my inputs and they made another one as I asked them to stick to the original CGT type step. The new seat they made was much better. I received the seat a day later and fit it on my bike. Check out the pictures and let me know your thought. I can say that the cushion is much harder than stock and gives much better support.
Even after 2 hours of riding it still feels quite comfortable and my butt doesn't hate me after getting off the bike. I should say though that the foam added an inch or two to the seat height. As I am 6'3" it works for me, but has made me consider bar risers more seriously. You can check Sahara Seats out if you are in the market for a seat replacement. Just a word of caution, they make the base my themselves from metal which can be a scratch risk for the tank. Wish I had paid attention to that. Would've avoided me a lot of paint chips. Sigh!

, you may need to put it back during rain, even with the mudflap i got dirt behind my helmet, the back pack was like spray painted brown color
