Old but Gold. I know this RTR 160/180 2v is almost obsolete but with TVS bringing out 160/180 FI BS6, it's better to have this manual if anyone wants the factory torque values.

You need to pull the clutch cover off and inspect if all parts of the actuation mechanism are present as per your parts manual and properly fixed.

Especially Parts 14, 23 and 25, a thing to note is that there is a metal ball which is part of 25, please make sure that is present as well.

My friend that is a very costly affair, for that you might need so many changes from whole electrical to mechanical. You need to understand how Fuel injection works, it takes inputs from various sensors. Some of these sensors are installed on various parts of engine so that also might need some modifications to accommodate those. If you somehow get those modified than the reliability would be a concern, instead you can get the parts which involves some modifications replaced to the bs6 model than this will make a big hole in your pocket.

Speedometer and its connector must me different in the bs6 due to Malfunction lamp.
Silencer has oxygen sensor, engine temperature sensor, fuel pump in fuel tank, Maf/map sensor in air filter assembly, difference in regulator/rectifier, wiring, Ecu, etc..

If you really need a Fuel injected motorcycle you might be better of selling this one and getting the updated bs6 model.

IMHO, it should set you back by a minimum 20K INR.

    Thanks

I am guessing a new Fuel Pump , Oil cooling unit, FUel injection Kit ,ECU, Exhaust (Inclung Catcon_) and wiring will need to be changed. WIll have to change the bore and piston as well?

If the cost is too much i might refrain from this project.
Injector will cost you upto 9000/-
Battery at max 1500/- by exchanging old.

    Wiring harness 2000 to 3000.

Rest all I have no idea.

Cold stars issues can be rectified with fine tuning the carb. Jerky acceleration can be due to cable play. Slight play in accelerator cable can be the reason.
