Hi All,
I am planning to pick up a CBZ Classic 2003 model with green tax paid and registration extended. The engine and suspension seems to be perfect, but few body panels are cracked. He is asking for a high price coz such bikes are hard to come by.
I needed inputs from owners as to whether I will be able to maintain the bike considering scarcity of spares.
Any pointers would be helpful, especially in Hyderabad.

. Now, my bike can start and works fine for sometime, then after high rev riding for some time, it simply doesn't rev back up! It doesn't go above 2k or 3k rpm. Some times it refuses to start at all!

Hey experts there!
I sincerely need your support very desperately as I own a 2005 CBZ star with self start and I'm planning for a restoration since very long.
Have managed to gather as many spares as possible expect for Cylinder Head, Fuel tank, Body panels, Rear mud guard, Carburetor, Wiring Harness (Self-start model), etc.; have been trying for these spares for a long time but in vain! My bike is sitting idle for past many years and wanted to give it a new life.
Can anyone of you please help me in sourcing these spares and a mechanic who can do this job well in HYDERABAD?

Hi m sushant i have 2 cbz star in my garaj the both are self start that one is repainted.. in 2012 another one is from scrap yard with paper i pay only 4000/- inr and that bike was in running condition i just service that bike in service station expenses -1000 inr only.. m luckyLeave a comment:

Different bikes have different front disk feel. I always felt CBZ disk a bit spongy. A wooden or spongy feel doesn't mean that its not working though that feeling is not desirable. Do you also see any decrease in stopping power?
Along with above checks do check the disk plate itself. Major contributors to reduced breaking power could be worn off pads/disk/bearings/axle/tyre or the stearing column/shocks themselves. Btw, a new set of disk pads take quite a while to bed in and work as expected.Leave a comment:

Check ur front wheel bearings and change them. Clean the caliper pistons, change o rings. Flush the oil. Always use good quality brake pads they are a good investment

Guys, my CBZ's front brake (disc) is very poor and it feels wooden when applied. I changed the pads and it feels the same now. Will changing the master cylinder, hose and caliper help? Budget is not a problem. Should I consider any other bike's brake kit?

There is a marginal difference in the higher rpm range. It runs on 1mm oversize cbz Goetze piston. That is the last oversize stock piston.Originally posted by rawat97 View Post

Just refurbished it complete each and every bolt has been taken care of.
I have been lately thinking about a get together of fellow cbzian in mumbai.
