The models prior to 1998 had 105. To increase fuel efficiency its been changed to 102. Take the jet to spares shop and try finding a similar jet. It must be keihen carburetor. Star models had mikuni. Dont overtighten the jet. U may damage the threads. -

Hello guys,i own a 2001 model blue cbz ,i have fully restored the bike,but now the problem rises,the pilot fuel screw has no effect turning in or out,the ideal doesnt change,and the plugs are sooty black,the stock pilot jet is #35,do i need a leaner pilot jet#33 may be 32,and the main jet is #102,the manual says#105,please helpLeave a comment:

To increase compression u can either use a goetze piston with a slightly higher top or could resurface the base(bottom part sitting on the crankcase) of the cylinder portion to few mm's. recently replaced the tail piece and side panels to sai brand which is pretty gud compared to other aftermarket parts.
i've also changed the following:
1mm oversize piston
increased compression ratio
New camshaft
New valves
Head porting
New timing chain
New timing chain pads
Custom exhaust pipe

i have done i chain spocket modification..... in front i have use 15 t spocket... the engine oil i use is honda idemitshu 10w 30... my bike is super smooth... and most importantly i ride it daily.. inspite having other bike also....Leave a comment:

60kmph at 4000rpm? Are you sure the meters are working fine? If I recall properly mine used to do that speed at around 5500rpm.
Its absolutely fine to occasionally thrash the bike to the top speed though not so fine if you do on roads with speed limits :PLeave a comment:
