Hellow fellow Baby Ninja riders! Need your help. I would like to stock the Spark Plugs in hand and change them before my long ride due in the next couple of months. Can any of you suggest which spark plug to get apart from the OEM l? Which other bike’s spark plug fits our bike!

    Thanks in advance guys

Resd that cr8hix from ngk is a fit! But would like to confirm before i make a purchase as it is quite expensive.

      Or will cr8eix fit?

Also read in the start of the thread that R15’s spark plug are a direct fit.

Forgot to ask one more thing. Regarding the Stem Bearing (cone set) size. Is there any bike from which we can use as a direct fit ( the oem size ) stem bearing for Ninja 250

CR8EIX will fit the 250R. For coneset, try the duke 200’s/pulsar220 coneset. It could fit, though not 100% sure.
Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

          Thanks for the quick response.

I will place an order for the Spark Plugs. Do you know where i can get it from Delhi? I mean from which shop. I would prefer offline in this case.

Also, the cone set size appears to be the size mentioned in the image below

Go to any Yamaha showroom. But R15 v1’s CR8EIX . 2 of them ofcourse . If Unavailable, you can use v2’s CR9EIX as well. If at all any difference is there between the two plugs, I couldn’t find any in any of my friends’ 250R’s using these 2 plugs. And I have seen people using duke 200’s coneset, the thing is I don’t remember if any modification was needed to make it fit, and I lost the contact of that person to ask him personally . It doesnt cost a bomb. You could come away with great success from it. And the OEM coneset of 250R doesnt cost as much as R15’s afaik.

Thanks for the information! I will go at it tomorrow and find out! I guess i will place an order for All Balls which actually sounds like a better investment comparatively. Life time i guess. Nevertheless, once i get the previous coneset out, i will be able to get a rough idea on which coneset would fit. Thanks again brother

Yea all balls are way too good. But I am unsure about the lifetime life of the same. Its upto you. And you are always welcome

The Yamaha R15 V1 spark plug will fit, which is CR8E, should cost around 100 bucks or so, buy from a yamaha showroom and i would suggest to stick with the original spark plugs.

For the coneset, i would request again to stick with OEM for the life of the Equipment is good and the replacement is not so expensive but the labor charges are. look on aliexpress or ebay.

Thanks, i am looking for the CR8EIX. Which is the iridium plug. Ali express, the delay is too long. I will be riding by next month end and few products which i have ordered havent yet reached. Its been 60 days and Post office dont have any information.

I do have other options like from Bike Moksha and Open Throttle Racer. Just wanted to see for a workaround in case i need it immediately.

                    Thanks for your reply brother

For running engine parts would not suggest aliexpress , Since spark plug failure at the middle of the ride will leave you hanging. go to any yamaha showroom to buy sparks. they might have the ordinary ones and not the iridium, that you might have to source from ngk distributor.

Absolutely agree with you! Genuine Kawasaki OEM means, i would go with Bike Moksha and Open Throtte Racers has OEM products too, but may not be genuine.

It can be bought from Amazon (Link: https://www.amazon.in/NGK-CR8EIX-Iri.../dp/B000VZJ712). This spark plug is compatible with Ninja 250R and is a genuine product.

You may check with the distributor of NGK in Chennai who to the best of my knowledge is the main distributor for Pan India. Though i doubt he will have the same iridium version advertised on Amazon. The iridiums once installed should have a life of 50-55k kms depending upon various factors so any additional cost one may bear it gets recovered with the extended service life these spark plugs offer.

                              Cheers,
