    1) Special precautions to be taken during run in period(max rpm, speeds etc for how many kms) -

max speed is 60 km for first 1000 km, though you can give her occasional bursts of 80-90 km.

          1. The white fiber parts do get pale after a while like in apache RTR180 coz i will be parking her in direct sunlight for atleast 6hrs a day?
          2. Is there any way to fit a wider tyre without any permanent MODS like chain cover cutting?
          3. If somehow the parts get pale then what to do to get rid of it?
          4. how much teflon coating costs and does it help to maintain its white colour?

1). Any bike with any color will get pale after parking in direct sunlight for hours.

2). No, you cant fit the wider tyre without any modifications as much as i known, and there is no harm at all to cut the chain cover to get in wider tyre.

          3. Do take proper care of your bike, washing, polishing etc which will keep color alive.

          4. Teflon coating cost around Rs. 300 to 500. and some annual package is also there.
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

First of all Congratulations for your White angel.

1). just ride upto 60kmph during first 1000 km.

2). Yep headlight is too dim for night travel on highway especially. so you can replace it by OSRAM Night Breaker or HID .

++ To avoid from direct sunlight suggest to have a bike cover...

++ Instead of Teflon coating, i would suggest to have a Formula 1 carnauba wax...it last long...

++ agree for Formula 1 Carnauba wax, but check out the originality, some fake carnauba wax is also present in market.

Today had a very bad experience with my wax (motomax from pidilite, I have doubts about it's originality). We have to buff f1 wax after drying and I made a mistake by applying it on plastic parts also (part where HECS3 sticker and portion below taillight). After the wax dried, it gave a very good shine on all the metal parts after buffing but it really got stuck on the plastic parts. The white remains of the wax was looking very bad on black parts. Took a lot of muscle to make it bearable and still it remains there.

Please be 100% sure before buying wax and purchase only good quality wax and avoid using it on plastic parts (esp those I mentioned above.)

There was various brands of wax available in market...but ensure to buy Formula 1 and for originality check for Made in USA on backside..with USA flag over it...rollback 3/4 pages of this thread..there you will find a image for the same...

Brother Firstly , motomax is not regarded as very high. its not that good.
formula 1 and turtle wax are much much better. if u want still better go for ARMORALL.

The polish for paints and plastic parts are different. using motomax on plastic parts will indeed result in what happened, as it is not intended for those surfaces.

you will have to get polish for paint, plastic parts separately. Armorall has it.

hope you have use tyre foam and alloy wheel cleaner ( both are ARMORALL)

Ya I know the image was posted earlier than that also but I couldn't find it in markets here so had to settle for motomax.

are you using two different polishes for paint and plastic parts?? Plz tell what brand and make are they.... I wash my bike every 15 days and next time I don't want to use motomax on plastic parts...
