Probably the QA @ TVS has gone down a bit. After around 7yrs I changed the switch gear of my Fiero, it worked flawlessly all the while. Got the new one in place and during first rains my pass switch also went bad.
Right now even the horn switch is not working properly. Planing to spray some WD40 this weekend.

looks to me like a fuel starvation problem.Are u experiencing this problem only while tackling a gradient?
As mentioned earlier that you were mostly driving in the rain,there might be a possibility of water getting mixed with petrol.

No. Actually some of the roads were just plain or even descending.

same here....

the switchgear of my fiero too worked without a hitch for 8 years and i sold it with the original ones workin all so fine.....

PS. i use to spray WD-40 in them once a month....

urgent help guys ..

seems that my pads are worn out ..14k done odo ..
should i go for the original or is there any alternative ?

Sam, speak with Satish. He put some brand called Max, bought in Ramkote for around Rs. 150 instead of the originals which run about Rs. 400. He said they are just as good, and fit exactly. You have to ask for the CBZ wala. Best bet, PM or call him and ask. He'll be the man to help you on this one.

If i am not wrong, Satti is using ASK and not Max.

The bike had just come on reserve. Even though its low, dont think its too low. Havent experienced that in reserve before.
