I have a little vision issue at night, so need a brighter light than the stock. Please suggest. Had already opted for the HID but its giving too much of problems including that it got off at a hill top with dangerous roads without barriers on the edges in the night. Got fed up with it, so I am reverting to Stock atm with a DC lighting.

Please suggest me a good bulb.

Stock TVS bulbs are good, else Osram Night Breakers are good again...

Got the Amaron battery installed today. 24 months + 24 months for 1400 INR.

Removed the rust using the sand paper, will paint it tomorrow after another round of rubbing

is everything normal now? and try putting some primer also on the rusts...

Yes buddy

The metal showed up. Still some small-small patches of rust is there as I am not able to rubb some places properly due to unreachability

But not that bad. Is their any other method that those patches can be removed completely?

And, does the primer kills the rust?

yup, take a 2 head screw driver and utilise the head.

primer forms as a coat over the rust preventing further air to pas hence preventing rust also it sucks in the paint and hence they last longer.

yeah, removed the "layerey" part of it with the screw driver itself

Ma friend is looking to buy appache 180, but still confused with 160/180.
Is there any millage difference between 180 normal and with ABS ?
Is appache 160 or 180 worth of money ?
Do 160 come in white color ?

There is a little mileage difference between the 160 and the 180, approximately 5 to 7 kmpl. But it also (majorly) depends on your style of riding.

To put it bluntly, no, there are no mileage differences between 180 non-ABS and ABS versions. Again all this is subjective to how you ride these bikes. Mileage and ABS are two totally independent factors.

Your third question should be first actually. Any owner will tell you its all worth every penny. Do your research and test ride them both before coming to a decision.

No, the 160 does not come in the white color.

Well, I took it in the evening using a phone cam @ night mode. Hence, the pic quality

EDIT: Better don't open the pic and see it as thumnail only if you don't want to vommit

There is hardly 2-3 km mileage difference in rtr160/180 if both are ridden in exactly the same way. I can say this because just the other day I & one of my friend went for a ride(300kms) on both these bikes & were cruising at high speed. To keep up with rtr180, rtr160 had to be on full throttle all the time, while for rtr180 full throttle was not necessary for staying with the fellow bike! At the end when we did some mileage calculations, both the bike returned almost equal figures as both were ridden at same speed.

RTR180's handling & stability is better than 160. Also the pickup & power that you feel in rtr180 is just awesome. Any-day go for rtr180.

@all: Don't kill me for recommending rtr180 over rtr160 in a rtr160 thread. This is just my personal opinion & anyways rtr160 is a great bike, no two ways about that. (Also I dont own any of these two bikes but just had a feel of them lately for @300kms. So I am here)

Both are RTRs we love both of emThis is just my personal opinion & anyways rtr160 is a great bike, no two ways about that. (Also I dont own any of these two bikes but just had a feel of them lately for @300kms. So I am here)

rtr 180 will give 5kmpl less mileage i have checked this not sure how you got 2kmpl diff, may be rtr 160 you rode was running rich u need to consider this also right? but stock 180 will give 5kmpl less than rtr.
