          • @Apar: Wow looks like your problem was pretty serious if it had gotten all the way to the VP, coming to think of it i had come across something similar in Orkut, stating the mis-assembled O-ring and my friend who too owns an RTR-Fi was bugging me about the same thing, so in actuality this means the O-ring must be re-assembled correctly for all the Fi's right?

            • @ELD: Nope not all Fi's and stuff. This was something missed during PDI and the subsequent pump replacement. And the O-ring ur referring to is for the injector system. Am referring to the O-ring for the pump itself.

@Apar - Like I told you TVS really knows how to treat their customers, its just that these stupid service centre guys act lathargic. One hard kick and they will replace every bit of the bike or even the bike.

                • Again hats of to TVS and u also, to sorted out such a prob.
My experience with always good with TVS, its been one year now I am dealing with the TVS ss, they are very user friendly. They almost shorted out all problems. There is a guy named BABAR who is relay efficient, in CHOPADA TVS Kolkata.

Apar now one thing just ask Mr.Murgan to provide u the service manual of RTR not that which I published, but the one which mentioned in that manual like: SERVICE MANUAL/APACHE 01.REVISION 0, AUGUST 2006.He may consider u and may provide u. Just check with him. If u get that thing i will be helpful for us.

                  • @Joel: I very much think that they recieved more than just a hard kick from their higher officials!!!

@Kauria: I highly doubt that man. All these manuals are company confidential info not to be leaked outside.

i picked up my fi before apars and the service station guys told me that the initial O-ring problem has been sorted out in my bike at production itself. so yeah bikes after Oct08 shouldn't have the problem.

                            • @Apar: I just happened to read your long post. I'm glad you finally got your problem resolved with dignity. But in any case, I find that the people in the service center have their own problems, in terms of daily target, lame customers, ignorant workers, etc. All this is why people like us get poor quality service. The higher officials of the same company, have different priorities, such as sales, profit, customer satisfaction, etc. which are closely related to keeping the customer happy. Therefore we can't completely blame them for this sort of bad treatment, and also can't keep quiet looking at their nonsensical responses. We have to put up and be patient.

The time has not come yet.
