Secondly why u want to block the SAI, when u install a Fi exhust? IMO Fi exhust does not have any catcon?

Anyone have a clue how much the RTR's and the FI's exhausts cost? Planning to fit one on my 150 and change the footpeg parts to the RTR's as well so I can enjoy rearsets and a better riding position. Need to know the total cost, I'm aware the footpeg conversion is roughly 5k including parts and labour. Not sure on the exhaust rate, my budget is about 12k to do up the bike and this includes new tyres, synthetic oil, white lamps, and a total service."One love, one heart. The exhaust I guess is around 7K. I would advise you to also get the clutch assembly of the RTR on your bike, you will definitely feel the difference.Originally posted by ashwinBK View PostAnyone have a clue how much the RTR's and the FI's exhausts cost? A:F ratio are approx figures. I judge it from exhaust note, smell and engine noice. I have skipped the idea of blocking SAI. May go for Fi's exhaust, because it has no catcon, and gives deep and loud noice. But before that I may convert existing to free flow also. Will decide on how much money i can collect, because i have just finished with BE and joining company from 20th july.Originally posted by kauria View PostHow do u adjust the A:F ratio to 13 & 14, any specific tool or turn no at air screw?

Same problem here .rub the brake shoes with a sand paper to make the surface of the barke pad rough! no sound will I am sure!
Brake pads have got polished and they aint rough so not getting any grip while braking ,...so make the surface roughSpeak Less,Speak Wise!

How much does the RTR clutch assembly cost? I might get that put in along with the RTR chain-sprocket set. But I like the gearing on the 150, so I'll try to get that chain-sprocket set. And what are the benefits of the new clutch assembly?Originally posted by bprags View PostThe exhaust I guess is around 7K. Went to Kiran TVS today and enquired, the RTR exhaust is 5100 bucks. Total expenditure would be 9.6k with labour charges. Considering I leave for Delhi on the 14th, I'll get the job done there. Moreover, I think with the cheaper duties there I may save a thousand or so.
Satish, I don't wanna buy anything now. I'll use my 150 for another year or so and then buy something then. Not happy with the current crop of choices. I want nothing below 17 PS, leaving me with the RTR 180, R15, P220 DTS-i, P200, and the Karizma. Not very happy with any of those. The R15 is overpriced, the 200 is poor in the city, and the Karizma is too expensive to maintain. I like the 220 DTS-i (took a test ride yesterday) and the RTR 180 (took a test ride today). The RTR 180 is great, but I'd rather have a 200cc bike at the least; 180 is so close yet so far. The 220 is new and I don't want to toy around with a first batch and get stuck with a dabba piece. No, I'm happy with what I have. I'm considering the option of the RTR exhaust-footpeg assembly. Maybe I'd skip on that too to save the 10k. If in summer 2010 we have the Ninja 250, or the CB300R, or best of all a bigger Yammie, I'll pick one up then irrespective of price."One love, one heart. Let's get together and feel all right."

Also toying around with these ideas. Please let me know if any of them are not possible or if you have done or know someone who has done these mods.
- Remove bikini fairing. Fit FZ16 headlight below speedo console.
- Powder coat engine, handlebar, and grey plastics to black.
- Paint alloys black, buff rim (I need to know how people get their rims looking like steel!)"One love, one heart. Let's get together and feel all right."

finally the "missing" said bye bye.....
today i decided to give my bike at the sc for service for the first time as i thought to get my injection system cleaned.....
as i'm not too happy with the guys working on the bikes thr i was little worried about my bike but finally i took my bike and told the guy thr following points....
1.Tappets setting
2.Injection cleaning
3.Air filter cleaning
4.and all the said "service" these guy do on the bike....
when i went to take the delievery of my bike in the eve i found it all done shining as the guy even spray polished it...
to my surprise he came to me and told me what he did on the bike and made me even more surprised when he told me tht the INJECTION UNIT in my bike was defective and he changed the whole thing under warranty....
as the old one was in black colour he showed me the new one which in silver in colour....
after hearing this i was happy like anything i grabbed the keys and took her to the test drive,....
MAN.......
IT FELT LIKE I'M RIDING A DIFF BIKE NOW....
the tappets were not making noice and they were adjusted just right....
its revving like dream and that missing thing is completely vanished now and it's now more smooth throughout the rev range and the signature VIBES between 5800-7000 has reduced a lot.....
today that guy completely changed my thinkin about the service at TVS...

. I have no clue what it is, it may be coming from either the rear brake, or the front or the body itself. Anyone expierencing/expierenced this?
