Engine was giving smoke continously, so the replacement was done.

                          • Thanks for all the good wishes and support guys. I'm already able to walk a short distance, say 25 steps, with the help of a walker. Swelling in the fractured leg is down considerably. I'm making great progress.

And yeah guys, do wear your helmet and gear. Ideally we should all be wearing leg guards and arm guards every time we ride, but some cannot afford those things and honestly speaking it's not practical to wear those for every ride. But yeah a good pair of gloves, a solid DOT/SNELL/ISI helmet, and a backpack to protect your spine are imperative.

In countries where the most common bikes are the 600's, litrebikes, and other super machines, those beasts are ridden as recreational vehicles rather than as commuting tools. Therefore, every ride on a CBR in California or on a Triumph Daytona in England is a purely fun weekend ride. That's why they always wear total safety gear. Here, such things are not possible because we use bikes everyday to get from point A to point B.

All I can say is, our roads and most of our drivers are not safe enough nor do they care about bikers. Be more careful than you usually are. Heighten your senses and reflexes and take care. I pray nobody here or anywhere has to go through the pain and trauma my family and I went through. It really was the longest two weeks of my life.

Be safe. Ride safe. Ride safer.

                            • That was a dreadful experience . Thank The Power that saved you. May God heel you at the same speed!

One more thing I would like to add to the "safe ride" is to maintain our bike. There had been cases where rider was quick to react but the machine didn't respond.
