      • hey guys...
this is my first post in this thread....
have already posted in the gs150r thread...

        am in a dilemma...
need to but a bike and have shrotlisted down to the rtr fi and the gs

        needs:
        1) good pick up
        2) mileage
        3) good handling

        i love both the bikes...
but the thing abou thte apache rtr fi are the vibes...
dunno why its bothering me so much...

i most of the time ride in the city, but dont mind going on a long trip occasionally....

personally have never ripped but have gone to a max of about 80kmph(in city)(and dont go upto 80 requently)

would the vibes really be a problem on the fi???
have the vibes reduced on the fi over the normal rtr????

and please shed some light on both the pros and cons of both:- apache rtr fi and gs150r

        thanks in advance

                  • I had an 8 month old RTR 160 with me on Saturday, did about 80kms.on it.
It handles really well, only that this one had a loose fork!
Also I was on the NH9 highway for about 30-40kms.&found it to be cruising very well at speeds of 90-105 kmph!
Won't say too much about the overall build quality, but this bike is meant for some spirited riding!
It is now my favorite Indian bike after the R15.
                    Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

Sure... but in a different thread... No one better than you for that task.

I like the way the R15 moves but when I take my brother's RTR refresh out I feel the hooliganism in it... it is addictive fun.

Revv the R15, it just moves. You smile after you go some distance.

Revv the RTR it moves along with a smile on your face.
