yeah i see that on once or twice commute a week from neral to vikhroli. i did first service at ashwini tvs near tapal-naka i bought bike from thr only but he added some shitty oil and that screwed my clutch plates. now i get the service from innovative tvs bhandup. its just excellent and customer oriented. that guy over thr is ready to add oil i want and i tune my bike myself. i get labour work done by them.

you mean ashwini tvs at thane? i did my last service there. they didn't replace the fuel filter which is clearly mentioned to be changed at 9k km. and the vehicle was dirty when i went to collect it. not to mention he refused to let me use my own oil. i've already informed the service head in pune and he said he'll look into it. hope the panvel one turns out better. bhandup is too far for me.

On Aug 08, i mailed Mr. Ananda Krishnan (head VP Business planning) & Mr. Ilango (south zone service manager) explaining ma bikes problem, the second day i received reply from Mr. Krishnan with apologies for the inconvinience caused & assurance that my problem will be solved. On the same day i got a call from Mr. Ilango asking me to get the bike to the service station, he also assured that all problems will be rectified with factory engineers. I couldnt take it on the same week so i took the bike to SVC the second week on 11 of august.

As soon as i reached mehdoot SVC, factory engineers arrived & i have explained them clearly the problems im facing... They did test drive for almost 40 kms but the bike was running perfectly.(by that time i ran almost 20 kms to reach SVC). Then they asked me to leave the bike for a day or two (if possible) so that random switch off can be checked in cold conditions.

i agreed to leave the bike, they have changed the ECU (delphi product under seat) as first job as a matter of suspection. then they inspected the bike completely. I left the bike for almost 3 days & they have tested it for 100 kms & no problem at all. I took the bike back today & im so happy that the bike is so smooth, pick up has increased drastically & so the pullin power. tappet noise has also reduced a bit,, after getting the bike i had driven around 50kms no random switch off problem ( but have to check the same for couple of days)...

I wonder an ECU has contolled the entire bikes performance, the factory engineer said so many things are contolled by the ECU like fuel supply, firing, temparature control, etc.,, The engineers were really helpful & for the whole week it was like i have given the bike to a well known mechanic who calls up regularly & update what has happened & whats going on....CHEERS TO THEM & CHEERS TO TVS..

Will keep updated guys abt the bikes performance & obviously the random switch off issue(m sure it wont happen again)....

TVS guys are really helpful & cooperative, they focus special attention if we are not satisfied...

i looked at it for a while and it really grew on me. very stylish. kinda looks like its integrated under the clear coat. and the swirl pattern rocks. reminds me of those movies where some dumbf*ck randomly splatters paint all over the canvas and then it becomes a masterpiece and sells for millions

whats the "RPM AREA RANGE" of ur FI guys when the exhaust takes the RASPY,DEMONIC groal...????

i mean my bike used to do it after 6500 but now it turns after 7000......

Is there anyone in here who have tried filling in the nitrogen in tyres? How much difference it makes practically?

Alright. Still i am planning to put it in my tyres.

Nothing like that.... Works on any tire. Ur bike tires will not heat up so much... And u dont have to check air every 4 - 5 days. The pressure stays the same for atleast 20 days at a stretch. I tried it once, but did not have time to go every time to the station. So gave up!

Alright guys I need some serious Help here.

Today while coming to Office I observed that the entire Brake & footrest assembly is moving up & down on bad patches. Checked & confirmed that yes there is indeed something loose or missing somewhere as If I push down the rear Footrest the footrest, Silencer & the part holding all this moves down.

I see all the nuts that can be seen on front to be there & I also checked with another RTR in the parking, so this is certainly an issue.

Anybody has any idea?

Sounds crazy!!! If all bolts are fixed, where could the problem be? Am guessing there is an issue with the stay being attached to the chassis. As the whole assembly is moving up/down am doubting this. I have no more ideas.

Yeah man this is really scary & dangerous. Is there any nut or bold which is inside i.e. not visible from side?

Would be extremely careful on my way back. Will show it at the service center soon.

With every passing day I am realizing that "The RTR is better packaged product than Pulsar" is nothing but a myth.

Renny, I only chekced the screws which are visible form side & found them to be fine, I am not sure if there is any other place where I should look.

What abt the swing arm bolt/nut?

Like I said I could only check what was clearly visible from outside, I will take it to my mech on weekend



Well I wouldn't have bought any of those but yes I dont think this bike would stay for me for a very long period.

Alright the problem is resolved, there is an LN Bolt inside the small hole on side which had gone completely loose mostly becasue of vibrations, the service guy tightened it & its fixed.

He said it could come loose if you carry load(Pillion) often it puts pressure on foot pegs making the bolt/screw go loose.

I am not sure if this is the right reason but if this is then its ridiculous.

Anyways I will make it a point to keep checking this screw/bolt in check
