where do you feel the vibes now, on your handle bar or footrest... just check the above to points and tighten up the foot rest they will help reduce the vibes..
The chain seemed to have loosened up and the vibes are felt in front near the leg gaurd. Also when the bike fell the nut(allenkey) which holds the silencer located near the foot brake lever was out the silencer had also got a little damaged from the point where it connects to the engine. But that thing was rectified.
But this time when i got my bike serviced the bike became even bad it is now making sounds from the engine and the previous sound. I have to take it to the service centre again.

You sure do need to take the bike to the svc.
Usually nut allenkey and the engine mounts (near the begining of the silencer) go hand in hand.... so if one gets loose the other remains loose...
I guess you would also have an odd firing sound... something like a clickity whirr... duh!
If yes then check these mounts and if possible re check all the mounts on the main chassis

Park your bike on the main stand and fire it up, check for the vibes or wobbles, try pushing your silencer and the footrest to check if they are fit enough (If no then step 1 again )
If yes, then if the chain is still loosened up then better get a link off or get a new chain...

is the rpm needle at idle supposed to stay at 1 place cos it moves at idle speed in my new bike (it moves 2 small indicator bars)

The idling is never at a single rpm it fluctuates a litlle here and there.
And if your bike is not run in then never let the bike settle in a single rpm cause it does uneven wear and tear

The sound from the silencer was rectified at the first attempt. Now the problem is only that bloody vibration which occurs after the engine gets warm enough.

@Puneet, I believe that is the engine beat adjustment... take your bike to the service center and get it tuned again on the CO Monitor.

dude its the idling screw in modern carburettors.it will not affect anything. It will only increase the rate at which your bike idles.(when u start your bike and leave it neutral, the rpm at which the engine is called your idling)

Sam, i guess for your bike at max 110 would do fine....coz 120 would be too much of a load on the RTR...!! But i guess pirelli and michelins doesnt come in 110 size(AFAIK)...!!

Just now i had a word wid my mech. he told that the Michelins are not available in 110 sizes, just the 120 or higher ones are available in the market..!!

on the other hand, Pirelli's were stopped manufacturing by the manufacturers but some dealers may be having some old stock wid dem..!! Then it cud solve ur purpose..!!

And some other brands are also available in the 110 sizes, will have to check them..!!
