whoah!! I didn't know the ZMA had such huge wattge on its alternator. No wonder then that with a relay in place my bike is running just fine with a 100/90 bulb plus a tad brighter pilots. been three months now and no issues whatsoever.Originally posted by Sandeep_K_Ram View Post10 Commandments:

I personally have seen tht OSRAM is a good Deal....have used it in cars and in both of my bikes...and the results are satisfying....the Halo remains as good as new even after a year...Originally posted by inder.cool View PostGuyz, any updates on the above point..i mean which company bulb would be good and will have good life...i.e between Osram, Philips, or any other..??Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!

Osram nightbreaker is tooooo good for a Karizma. One of our xbhp member from Hyderbad is using it, but cost a bomb. You get only in pairs, and a pair costs around 1600.
Currently I am using Osram SilverStar, which is reasonably good. Philips visionplus is also as good as Osram Silverstar. Somebody even reported (vaas2000) VisionPlus is far better than SilverStar.
If you switch on the headlight without the engine running, the battery drains very fast. You know how, in the last one year, the battery prices have double almost.Originally posted by rahul.cool View Postcan you elaborate more on that, is that just for precaution or something went wrong when you did that ??Last edited by ravi@17bhp; 09-25-2008, 04:09 PM.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

So, now have to decide between silverstar OR visionplus..!!Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostCurrently I am using Osram SilverStar, which is reasonably good. Philips visionplus is also as good as Osram Silverstar. Somebody even reported (vaas2000) VisionPlus is far better than SilverStar.

Silver star is cheaper than visionplus, but vision plus is marginally better than silver star.
Go for Visionplus if you are sure that it's genuine. I think it costed me around Rs 225 here. Where as Silverstar was hardly Rs 120 as such. But i bought both from distributor shop, so am not sure if you will get them at same price in normal shops.

I remember GS mentioning in the previous ZMA thread that Honda Unicorn's pads a straight fit for ZMA. Guess it costs less than Rs 500. I'm planning to get a pair soon.Originally posted by WiZ View PostGuys any other alternative pads to the 1.5k OEM brake pads ?All men dream, but not equally.
