dude, there is some kind of filter net like thing surrounding it....can it be removed and fitted back after cleaning? I went to honda, they told me also that its called a petrol cork and costing around 350. A mechanic told me its in good condition and does not need to be changed, so i cleaned it with some petrol and fitted it back. Do not fit Rear tyre at front....its risky and not safe...also front tyre should ideally be smaller size then the rear one. front tyre is designed for better maneuverability....rear one wont do that properly and you will face handling problems.Originally posted by bulletnjeep View PostLeave a comment:

my local mechanic calls it a "petrol cock"...i am not sure if that is the actual name. you can get a new one from Honda service center. dont know know the exact price but it will be in the range of Rs 250-400. you can remove that black knob(i.e fuel ON/OFF/Reserve knob) by removing the screw at center.Originally posted by Ullysius Cabral View PostLeave a comment:

Hello everyone!
I want to do some modifications to my Twister.
I've some ideas I want to share with you guys.
First off, I've a spare MRF ZAPPER C 100/90 - 17, can I fit it on front rim? I know it will unbalance the bike, but to what extent?
Secondly, I'm thinking to remove headlight assembly and get a round light fitted.
Third, I'm thinking to give it whole matte black paint job and orange details.
Other ideas coming in soon.

Removed this from the tank today. the top plasticky thing was very dirty(almost mud like particles on it). What is it? And can it be replaced with a new one? If yes how much will it cost?
FInally how to remove it from the regulator?

My bike has developed a lot of rust, specially on the tank(the clamps holding the front plastic wings, which are welded on to the tank and the fuel line coming out of the tank). The clamps have developed deep rust, i removed as must as i could and painted it. I am really worried about the rust problems now.Leave a comment:

I changed rear tyre to CEAT Vertigo (as i was suggested in this thread).
Review:
- Rear height has increased a bit.
- Tyre has good grip, firm & stable.
- But those who already have height issues, don't go for this tyre. As with me - I am facing lots of height issues.
