What are the best options ?
I have CEAT Vertigo in rear.
sorry for the delayed reply.
i have a CEAT zoom front tire which replaced the stock TVS tire on an emergency basis due to multiple punctures. it has good grip and ride comfort even with my bikes changes.
changed the rear tire to MRF Zapper C this Diwali and its a marked improvement from the stock TVS tire. better grip and ride quality. i can take slightly greater lean angles on turns and carry more speed through confidently.
CEat Zoom cost me 1800 while the Zapper came for 2100 with a new airvalve. both tubeless.

Hey Everyone!

I'm planning to ride my Stunner to Goa in February for India Bike Week. Its approximately 600 km from my home to Mapusa.
Has anyone done such a long distance in one day on a stunner? does the bike hold up without hiccups? i will be taking a break every 100 km or so.
i used to ride from Mumbai to Pune when i was in college and have done a Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai in a single day with 6 hours between departure and return trips.

i really need all the info you guys can give because i'm really looking forward to this trip.

thanks in advance for your help!

• When to service

Hi I own a Honda Stunner 2010 model. It has done around 33k kms. How often should i get my bike serviced to keep it in good condition? Suggestions about best practices are also welcome.

I have been using a stunner from 2010 Feb and now it has clocked 68000+ kms. I usually service the bike from local mechanic. I change Engine oil every 2500-3000 kms, adjust the brakes, lube the chains whenever needed. And i do change parts as necessary. Few days back i replaced air filter, front disc pad, clutch plate, brake shoe, sprocket bearing and rubber etc. Check with a mechanic or take it to service center and ask them what needs to be changed.

i am concerned about the strength of the rod after shimming 1 mm. Or should i change the connecting rod to 14 mm piston pin hole(unicorn's connecting rod)

more over i have figured out every single aspect about fitting a unicorn's cylinder and piston, every thing is fine and is like factory ready bolt-on procedure except cbf 125's 13 mm pin hole on the connecting rod.
Are you sure everything else of unicorn 150 is a direct fit on Stunner's Engine. Is it possible to replace even the transmission part-all 5 gears of Stunner with Unicorn's gears? Have been thinking seriously about fitting the unicorn's bore and piston on stunner's engine.

My 75000 KM Ownership experience of Honda Stunner CBF 125

I was thinking of sharing my ownership experience of Honda Stunner and what other better occasion to do it than crossing 75000 KMs and having it for a good 7 years.
The bike has been really troublefree for all this long and hope it would be so till I do 1 Lac KMs on it.

Things I liked the most-Looks Paint QualityParts Quality- Maintenance free- Rear Suspension- The rear shocks are stiff and have to slow down drastically while approaching speed breakers and pot holes. Pillion riders are the victims of stiff rear shocks. Even then Honda has managed to design good footrest position for pillion. Knees are not too bent while resting foot on footrests.

Time for some Pics:-
My bike during the initial days-Bought in Nov 2008 from Dhruvdesh Honda- Mekhri Circle showroom-Bangalore. Had booked for Red color but later changed it to Black, someone scared me about red color which is prone to fade early.

I have a 2010 model stunner and it's fairing has been broken completely. I was thinking instead of buying the fairing kit, why not remove the broken fairing and make it a naked bike.
Need ideas to make it naked with good LED head lights. Anyone has any pics or idea?

Stunner is quite popular even outside India. People have done it. Maybe you could try FZ headlight assembly.

Could someone measure the distance between the 2 bolts holding the chain cover in place?

Hey Guys!

I have a Stunner 2008 Model done only around 30k.

Have u guys tuned your Carb?

Thanks,

• Honda Stunner Carbon/Black Foulded Spark Plug & Low Mileage

Hello Sir...
I own Honda Stunner CBF125 Date Of Purchase 03 June 2016 Now Nearly Runs 10,000+ km...
I also read some other threads related to low mileage issue of honda stunner but not find helpful..
Major problem i am getting in my bike is it giving me a very dark carbon foulded spark plug everytime and very bad behaviour running smoothness, mileage, sound, rpm idle not stable and also before service i found carbon coming out from a little hole in silencer whem i accelerate bike.
I showed it to some mechanics they do service of my bike and told me that my bike needs engine head valve problem then i said to do and they charged me for everything like engine head valve ,oil, air filter etc. But i am not satisfied with my spark plug because it is still carbon foulded in every 1 or less km..
Hope You will reply ASAP
Thanks

Is the spark plug dry or is it oily?

If it's oily then piston rings might be gone.

If it's dry black soot then you're mostly running very rich. Get the carb tuned correctly.

Shashank Sir.. Thanks For Your Reply ..

i gave my bike to honda svc for that spark plug problem..& They charged me around 2,000 rupees for changing valve etc. (as they told engine head work),
and they solved that problem..
but now my bike is making weird noise from engine when it gets hot..
i take it to the svc again and they are saying that " noise is coming from crankshaft and this and some other engine parts should be change and they cost you around 10,000 rupees "
i am totally unsatisfied with this " HONDA TWO WHEELER "
i mean before on 04-nov-2016 they charged me 2,000 rs for head work and now noise is coming after two days of svc and they said you have to pay 10,000 for engine svc
PLEASE HELP !!!
WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW !!

THANKS

I am an owner of the current gen Honda Stunner and always thought that there was no TVC good enough to justify the bike.
Therefore, as a bike enthusiast and Stunner Head, I tried doing something. Please have a look, and leave a comment..
