The ball bearings were rusted along with the components in the picture
The cone set cost me Rs.356
After changing the cone set the handle feels much better and no clicking or kat kat sound while braking

The pics are taken after cleaning the components

Well, they might be easily swappable if it had drum brakes but not in case of disc brakes.
I have faced one problem during installation. The brackets which I got from Hunk are the ones meant for drum brakes only, so I am not able to fit them as there is no provision in that bracket for mounting the following disc brake assembly -

Actually before buying this, I had told the Hero moto dealer that I need disc brake version Hunk's bracket but he said both are similar.
So now I am trying to source the bracket which is meant for rear disc braked version hunk but currently its not available in my city. Rather many dealers are not even aware that there are two types of different brackets as they look exactly similar.
So this project is on hold for a while. I will update as soon as I manage to source the required part.

This brake lever looks a lot better than the stock stone-age type make lever. Will update after the installation process is over.

Regarding rear sets.. here in the phil there is one set that is compatible with our dazzler, its from a moped from Suzuki, model Raider 150. see the images above

The below is the Dazzler with the not so the same set, but has the same holes to fit in. But it's meant for the above suzuki..

Of course, I have already checked the fittings & discussed in detail with a mechanic before buying those parts. Actually, I am behind this project for last 2-3 months.
It is not a direct fit, there is some jugaad involved in this fitting. I will share all this info with pics after my installation process is done.

Pratik, its time you replace the fork oil and the fork cone set.
I did show it to a couple of local mechanics, both said fork oil only needs to be changed if it leaks or suspension starts bottoming, hence ignored it. But now I will definitely get it changed.
By the way, manual doesn't mention anything about fork oil. If I am not wrong it is 175ml in each fork, right? Should I be worried about it's grade?

When we apply brakes, the suspension contracts and when you go into pothole/speedbraker in this condition, the suspension will not have any play to act as cushion. We need to leave the brakes and allow the suspension to come up before hitting the pothole. This way, the suspension will have play to cushion.
    +100 to this.
I fact, I follow this same technique for both my bike and car, and its very effective.

I tried it from local mechanic & honda ASC but all waist. They say a 150cc bike will return max of 40kmpl then what u want .
Honda ASC style of setting the AFR mixture is simple open the afr screw to 1.75 rotation in engine stop condition.

Please buddy . Help me retune my carburettor.

For re-tuning of CV carburettor especially Keihin carburettor check my signature. It is the factory method of tuning.

AFR at 1.75 full turns is optimal for Unicorn/Dazzler. First set your AFR at 1.5 turns and ride for sometime and see. Each time, turn the AFR upwards of 0.1 turn and check how the engine is responding. Settle at where the engine feels smooth and responsive.

Set the idle at 1400 rpm when the engine is hot; do not set it at 1100 which is low.

FE depends on so many things like, riding style, riding conditions, quality and quantity of petrol, clutch adjustment, chain condition, good engine oil, tire pressure, rider weight, pillion, etc. First you need to rule out all the above before concluding that tuning is the cause of poor FE. First, make sure the quantity and quality of fuel that you fill is right; change in quantity and quality of fuel would drastically affect the FE. Riding in 1st and 2nd gears would give very very less FE (in city traffic). Abrupt acceleration reduces FE. Poorly adjusted clutch also affects the FE. Underinflated tires give poor FE (Dazzler has tubelss tires which are prone to micro punctures and loss of air over days; you need to check air every two days).

Also, how should I know whether there is a problem in front forks or cone set?
I haven't changed my bike's fork oil or cone set till now (more than 23k kms). But lately the front suspension crashes over potholes, not bottoming mind you, just a 'thud' like sound. It also has become a lot harder, I mean I can feel every small bump on the road.
There is no oil leak from the forks, so I guess it is related to cone set, is it?
