There is nobody from Pondicherry (or around) who is interested to go (1 or 2 time /month) to Chennai racetrack, for sharing truck rental fees?
Tomorrow i will go again by bike, but i prefers to go by truck (more safe, less tired, can bring more things...) but that is little to much expensive for me alone.

I prefer to ride. Chennai pondicherry is a nice route with good tarmac. Not a long distance too.
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

Yes, the road is ok, i go often to Chennai by bike (every month) for personal things...

But i go to the track for practicing not for riding on the road. And if something go wrong on the track, maybe not possible to come back by bike...
For the moment i am doing it with my bike which i use every days. But when i will get my racing suit, I will take another bike just for the track (i don't know what for the moment, maybe one used RTR FI from one friend) and remove few part and after that maybe no legal to use it on the road...
And also, when i come back from the track, i am tired and bored by riding on public road...

Track director said me sometime when there is TVS race, if you paid 750 rs (if I have understand) then you can participate to TVS race and TVS give you one RTR just for race session.
Previously (last year), I have asked if there is available bike for rent on the track , but they said no.

I know only that, maybe other people here have better informations.

We are trying to find if someone in Chennai who provides bikes on rent. Uptil now i've only found people who rent Bullets and scooters.

Agree with on you on the getting tired after a trackday part, especially in this killing heat.

              @Chennai guys

              Anyone knows this fellow?

can we race just like that even for TVS races? what are the formalities for entering to that? dont we require any racing licence for that and race pepped bikes as the official team is having?

I will ask to director when i go there next time.

But normally just need to have bike license (and paid). But i think that is only for special races, not for all TVS races. I will ask because i don't know more.

do we need to book in advance for kari track.. anyone has any info?
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

Kari Track at CBE is not free unlike the MMSC track at chennai. Also there is no pay and practise scheme at Kari. YOu have to strike some deal or rent the trak for an entire day.
Best is to land at chennai and have some fun by paying per session. Works cheaper and the track is better than Kari.
