The grid strength will still be pretty healthy. It is just that factory bikes won't run. More of CRT machines (as carmello has stated). On a wet race day with less number of factory/satellite bikes we might see very different results.
This is good for racing fans , won't be monotonous.

^ Look for a FTR Kwacker link posted earlier in the thread.

Along with the Suzuki prototype, Rizla girls will be missed too!

Capirex appointed as safety advisor for MotoGP. And also has submitted a request to FIM for retiring the number 65.
Bradl would have to take up another racing number if Capirex's request is approved

Feeling sad for RdP. He probably made his second wrong choice (first was leaving LCR having the best season) by not accepting a CRT ride in motoGP next year. He also had an option of riding in moto2 but he understandably denied. There are rumors that he might seek shelter in WSBK but nothing is concrete...

Edit: Oh yeah he is also linked to be a test rider for GP12 along with Franco Battaini

                  Edit2: Interesting article:

this one seems interesting (as far as brake lever protection is concerned)

Motorcycles must be equipped with brake lever protection, intended to protect the handlebar brake lever(s) from being accidentally activated in case of collision with another machine. Acceptable protection includes the fairing extending sufficiently to cover the brake lever, as viewed from the front.

Such devices must be strong enough to function effectively and designed so that there is no risk for the rider to be injured or trapped by it, and it must not be considered a dangerous fitting (at the sole discretion of the Technical Director).

So we can expect to see extended fairings and brake lever protectors

^^ Mixed reactions on twitter with respect to those brake protectors.

Toni Elias seems to be coming back to moto2 with Aspar team. And Aleix Espargaro on a CRT in MotoGP.
Toni should dominate again if he indeed comes back.
Not liking it Toni has had his chance going into motogp after winning moto2 earlier. Now time to give chances to other younger talent.
But one thing is there that riders have learned moto2 class for two years and might give a good fight to Toni. And if Toni doesn't win it then he'll taint his career more...

Gresini goes for an FTR-built Honda (CRT; CBR1000R engine) as a second one since running an RC213V is an expensive affair. He had plans of getting a RSV4 block(Could have been interesting to see an Aprilia after a long time in MotoGP) but, HRC twisted his arm insisting not have one in the same garage as Honda's! Phew!
