hey nice share....would love to quote from pg.18 in gpweek:
" The Prospect of three GPs in USA is no longer so clear. The troubled Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, was on the 2013 calender but the track's dispute with F1 over their planned race next year has thrown doubt on the plan.INDIA COULD BE THE BENEFICIARY."

                Thanks for the links guys.
No racing weekends means everybody has free time and time for their own evaluation on past season

                Another interesting one:
MotoGP: it's Stoner, not the Honda

And there are some more article in gpone.com mainly from the recently published book by Rossi.

I was wondering sometime back...could honda have won the championship in 2010/2009 if they had Casey Stoner then?...I believe they would have been a major contender...even in 2010, that honda was at par with Yamaha...somehow pedrosa & dovi don't seem to have that correct mixture of blindingly fast and consistency....they were no match for lorenzo/rossi

Ironically this again proves the importance of rider in bike vs rider debate...with Honda being the beneficiary this time around....

                  hehe...this is awesome....
Rossi vs Lorenzo: battle on Twitter

let me behave like a rossi fanboy and claim that lorenzo cheated..., he used driver aids, game cheats, Photoshopped the pic etc...., and further cheer rossi to practice & go better...

Though they have shown the stats in the above article but I feel they have not analysed the season properly. Putting an if( Pedrosa injury ), Honda had a chance, though we can argue that Pedrosa is very unpredictable and gets injured every season but here we are talking about a hypothetical situation(Stoner not at Honda), so we can forget about Pedrosa injury.

I think Rossi used to wear some special HD glasses while racing.
Excerpt from the article Brivio: Rossi is better than Stoner
Brivio had an interesting anecdote from his time at Yamaha. "During the 2006 Sachsenring race, is was Rossi, Melandri, Edwards, Hayden and Pedrosa fighting for the win. By the end Valentino managed to open a small gap and take the victory. After the race, he told us that he tried to break away after he saw Hayden pass Pedrosa on the big screen televisions at the track. The two Honda riders were wearing obviously wearing the same colors, and nobody understood how he could tell them apart at that speed. But Valentino said he could distinguish them from their helmet designs."

^^ Rossi's team is trying to save their a$$e$ saying all that. It is because of Rossi's stature Ducati is listening and willing to change the bike.

By the way @king as what crash.net's 2nd article has predicted if Rossi doesn't get a grip on the Ducati. If that comes true, it will be a spectacle. Rossi/Stoner on same machinery...

^^his point would be proven only when that ducati wins...and consistently at that...,
Ducati has no option but to listen...he isn't some new kid on the block (read melandri)...but a multiple time world champion who has won in different classes with different manufacturer...fans are going to blame ducati....

if it happens(rossi & stoner on honda), it would be the best thing ever...., they are both superhuman and their rivalry is fiercer than anyone else's....,

regarding same machinery - found this on a forum...

Rossi's fan - give rossi a honda and then we will see who is better...
Stoner's fan - give stoner a ducati and you already know the result...

Also found out about the Jerez's tests...
2011 WSB CHAMPION Carlos Checa will be at Jerez for the next three days testing the Ducati Desmosedici GP12 at GPzero.
The Spaniard will join Franco Battaini to continue the development of the Desmosedici GP12 that Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden will race next season. Alongside the new 1000cc engine for 2012, the bike also features an aluminium twin-beam frame (pics below) after the struggles Ducati had with the carbon monocoque chassis.
Rossi himself is doubtful to be attending the test at Jerez, as the Italian is taking part in this weekend's Monza rally that starts on Friday. He will race a WRC-prepped Ford Fiesta in the event.

Now as a self respecting fan - I expect mr Rossi to quit monkeying around and go test that ducati...

Also the 2011 macau GP...gonna try to get complete race...

There was an interesting article about rossi in the magazine 'Bike India'. Dont remember much.(I'll try to search tho)

It was about rossi adjusting his front brake lever on straights.........

So many reasons of him being the greatest rider.

                            EDIT:

What about Dovi? From a factory Honda to a satellite Yamaha.. Would he have a factory support like Gresini or he would have Cal and Colin like bike??
