  • Well semi-bald tires and four nails in the rear tire might be a small issue going round the track entering corners at 85-90kmph If you are talking about srini's Fox jacket, they are more than enough for amateurs like us, it's supposed to be worn on top the inner vest, because it is supposed to be close to the skin that's why the jacket is mesh with the armour on it

He He.. You know what.. varun and sajiv's brother were present in the track when i hit there....so i did have some company.:-)

i was able to do some marginal improvements.
In my first track day, i did a best of 2.34.70.
Yesterday being my second track day, i had targeted to shave around 4 seconds , but the bike worked out better than that. my best lap time yesterday was 2.27.68 .

Thats was actually a safe and lousy ride without even trying to push the bike. I feel i am not still gelling with the bike's dynamics. I did run out once in C2 and C8. C8 run out was the sacriest. It was like the rear hit a bump and was thrown out towards the outer.when the rear landed, rear started spinning out of traction. I felt it just the opposite of a tank slapper. Woosh... came back to the pits right after that. I think i am not ready to push the bike yet.

had a great knee down experience. Good enough to get a new knee sliders.:-) i felt comfortable to take right handers. All the right handers my knee was down. But felt sacred to do the same in the left handers. Some how had the left too a couple of times.
there was one stupid thing which i had done this time. I was riding on a full tank of gas.:-) he he. The tyre pressure was 31 rear and 25 front.
my next target is to do under 2.25.
Hope luck is with me once again.

now i leave the stage for wonderboy for opening up his criticism.
@ wonderboy - post some pics man. Was it sajiv's cam ? I am really waiting for the pics to see my akward riding position.

Actually my uncle came with me.. Also one of my pal. Wonderboy did some late 2.23.Btw I had all the place in the track for myself since i was alone. So had the time to cover up my mistakes. If this had been a real race, i would have probably crashed in the first lap itself.. He he...actually i am so attached to the bike that i scared of crashin her.

Dude, its all because of the support of my pals and you guys out here... You know what, i got obsessed with knee down and one knee down in C1 and my right knee sliders are totalled...actually varun was the reason behind it. But i feel i am faster when the knees are not touchin the ground even when fully extended. Hey, can you ask your bro to post the pics.
Btw, infront of your bike, my bike feels pretty under powered...your bro too commented that.. But there are problems with the steering geometry of your bike and its eating up heavily on the right side of front tire.

Sure. I ll ask him to post the pics.

Yeah. There were a few issue with the bike. Back to back crashes have pretty much screwed up the bike. But ur bike being underpowered!! i am not sure how that could happened. My bike feels a bit rough though.

Its time for a front tyre change man. Lots of right handers in MMSC. Right side is bound to be used up i guess.

                            • No comments and no critics.... after coming home and two days of dreams running over and over again... I know where i can probably push more, there is always scope of improvement...
@sajiv : Ungala mathiri 2:20's lam panna mudiyathu sir... May be a couple of more track days i should be a wee bit raster... The fork still has a lot of twist...the fairing is probably not aligned properly... I guess it is time to tear down the bike and start looking for errors, just my opinion though...

overall it was good track day, riding with my leathers on for the first time i had to adjust my riding position, throiugh within a few laps my right sliders were eaten up the tarmac started to chew my leathers... Right then there was a problem with the right foot peg... it became too loose and very difficult to corner on the right as it was folding at very high speed corners... so we decided to call it a day....2:23.5 was my fastest, the average still at the 2:25's... so i gotta a lot of work to do...

                              • @ wonderboy - if you can push a bike with a twisted fork, and using leathers for the first time, then you can far more better if the bike is better and after you get accustomed to the leathers.. Lets see in the next track day.
@all - any one aware about the fees for becoming a member in MMSC ?
