What is the maximum points scored by a rider in a season?
The way Jorge is winning and collecting points He already has 235 pts out of 10 races.
Suppose he wins four five more races and comes second in the rest, not considering the engine limit which might well play its role in coming races, he will score close to 400pts.
Will be this a record of some sort??Comment

Yes there is a record for that...I don't remember the exact point total....but Rossi has it......, Also there is a record of max race wins in a season...11 by Rossi again.....Also in a certain season rossi was on podium in all but one race....Originally posted by sumit.pannalall View Post

Rossi scored 373 points in 2008, which is the current record I suppose.

Yes, I loved that combo too.., R1 has been my dream bike, and I kinda loved the blue white yamaha M1...amazing machine...have to get myself a no. 46 M1 scale model before it becomes history.....
Just now I came to remember...I had a big poster of Ducati 916 in class 9th...knew nothing abt Ducati then.....it was my first poster too....

Jeremy Burges = Crew Chief (not sure, hence i did not mention)
Mecs = Rossi's staff operate under JB (they have already made transitions last year and some may go with him . although most of the are italian
so Lets see what Elbows has to give on a Factory Yamaha.
