Today just view the bike at swarrop; Preet Vihar. Delhi....

No TR...bike just come to there showroom yesterday...black and white color...

Rear Tyre are of MRF Zapper Q..Nissin Brakes in rear as well as in front...

Front Disc plate seems to be like ZMR/ZMA....

Quality of parts/paint is good...no paint chipping off as mentioned here...

CBR250 & CBR150 very much look similar..only difference in front headlight area and side stand...both bikes are standing side of each other in showroom..i too get confused which one is 150 on first time view...

Only thing i do not like is switch...is of Twister/stunner..otherwise everything is fine...and hope that it will be changed in next upgrade...

I don't see any paint chipping on the pics you have posted. Is it on the TD bike? You had camera and could have taken some pics of it. I suspect that to be a handling issue (damage in transit or handling issues at show room). But, if its really paint peel due to quality, thats very bad.

Amazing discuusion going on! All i can wait for a xBHP Report.
Since i'm a potential R15 buyer(after3-4 months although, just bought RTR160 5 months back ), there was nothing that could deviate me from R15, but CBR150R did, i call CBR250R as VFR250F, and not at all a tourer, only track like character is what matters. xBHP report, i await you my dear.

Engine note is quite good, different from c250r.

Three CBR 150R's has arrived at the showroom in Calicut city(KTC Honda) a couple of days back, and one of my friends working there had informed me. I went there straight ahead and found out that the bike will be shown only to the public after official launching (That was the words of the sales manager). After a request by my friend to the manager , I was able to take a look at it. But the thing is, I badly wanted to ride it since its only a month after I bought the R15v2 after selling my P220.

My friend called me today early morning that the sales manager was on leave today and the Honda's 'other' people are taking the C150R out for a spin.
I went there at 8am and got hold on the bike .
Truly speaking, the self start button is a comedy . In a premium bike, everyone will expect big. The bike started in one crank , and as soon as I took off, I did feel I was riding a C250r, but not due the power , but the sitting position was the same.
The lesser torque is quite noticable under 50kmph and I am not sure that the Yamaha R15 will be a better performer than this. 100 came up quick , but it wasnt any better than its rival. It might be also due to my friend(pillion) was wieghing near 100kgs.. The bike I rode today was refusing to go about 113kmph, whatever the conditions are.
Gear shifts are smoother than the YZF boy, engine is smooth , but the front brakes... common Honda, you must have done a little better . Its same as the Karizma's (It works better on zma's but not on this , maybe due to the design change) The front brake is not anywhere near the R15 or the P220. But the rear is good enough to hold it steady. The rear tyre doesnt go with the looks of the bike. And we can definitely assume that the mud from the front tyre will be heading straight to the radiator since the mud guard is no longer that its elder sibling. Seats are highly comfortable than the R15 .
Talking about rear disc, I think its a pick and plant from the Dazzler(not quite sure though).. Tyres are great on performance , good looking silencer, but I felt a little vibrations just after all gear shifts and after the bike has crossed the 85kmph mark . But those are negligible.
'The basic conclusion' is , at 1.31L(Deluxe on-road Calicut) , tourers will definitely prefer this bike over the R15, but those who want a complete sports bike, the R15 will be good.
'My conclusion' is that the tourers will be most probably taking out 20k more and going for the C250R so they get that awesome power which the C150R lacks. If it was a 1.10 on-road or 1.15 max, it wold have been the best in the segment. But for the time being , the YZF baby is a single mile better.

Disclaimer: I wrote this as a Bajaj fan. Now dont consider me as a Honda fanboy or a Yamaha fan boy which I'm not.

If we have to go by his reasoning, he cannot afford to buy CBR150R so he bought R15.
