    • Amazing discuusion going on! All i can wait for a xBHP Report.
Since i'm a potential R15 buyer(after3-4 months although, just bought RTR160 5 months back ), there was nothing that could deviate me from R15, but CBR150R did, i call CBR250R as VFR250F, and not at all a tourer, only track like character is what matters. xBHP report, i await you my dear.
Except for bicycles, everything else: i learned to ride it in "Grand Theft Auto"!

I don't see any paint chipping on the pics you have posted. Is it on the TD bike? You had camera and could have taken some pics of it. I suspect that to be a handling issue (damage in transit or handling issues at show room). But, if its really paint peel due to quality, thats very bad.

              • Today just view the bike at swarrop; Preet Vihar. Delhi....

No TR...bike just come to there showroom yesterday...black and white color...

Rear Tyre are of MRF Zapper Q..Nissin Brakes in rear as well as in front...

Front Disc plate seems to be like ZMR/ZMA....

Quality of parts/paint is good...no paint chipping off as mentioned here...

CBR250 & CBR150 very much look similar..only difference in front headlight area and side stand...both bikes are standing side of each other in showroom..i too get confused which one is 150 on first time view...

Only thing i do not like is switch...is of Twister/stunner..otherwise everything is fine...and hope that it will be changed in next upgrade...

I too think that was only handling issue.
Actually, the bike in the pic is the TD bike. As its key was with the manager, they took out the second bike which was also orange. They said the third bike was that black and white std which I dint see since it was kept somewhere else at the showroom.
I didnt click the TD bike because I already had pics of orange one and atleast 30 people where waiting for the Test ride . The handle bar paint chipping was suddenly noticed by me during td , and the one in the pic was perfect as you said..

                  • I was near sector 14 in Gurgaon so decided to check the bike out at the Ganpati Honda showroom.

                    Impressions:
Definitely eye catching. The bike seems neatly put together.
Last year, i had cancelled my CBR 250R booking after seeing the terrible quality of fit and finish. This wasn't the case with this bike. Though the plastic thing connecting the front cowl to the speedo had become detached at one end. Sad really, Honda India doesn't learn. But, in that repsol type colours, the bike should be a super attention grabber on the roads.
The on road pricing is gurgaon is 1.26 lakhs. I asked why a premium over the R15, the poor guy had no coherent answer. He blurted out, power isska 10500 rpm hai.. bhp 18 hai (17.58 in the spec sheet though).. road pe aur bhi zaada hai .. and issmey FI hai...
If it was a 12th pass fresh graduate blurting out these things, i wouldn't have minded. But, when a middle aged guy has zilch idea about what he is saying, its very poor.
He did say that test rides will start in a few days. If anyone needs a test ride earlier, i would suggest NAwab Honda near honda chowk. Last year, they had the CBR 250R ready for TD a full week before Ganpati Honda.

                          gotta be a std cbr.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                          #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

That black n white is sad.
                            Love the palm green.

Think about it sayank. Or atleast go for Duke man.
Exclusivity, international brand tag, superb finish/quality. Choose wisely.

                              • Today, I checked the bike (CBR150R) in showroom when I was to collect smart card of my Dazzler. It was black and white color combo. Though I personally don't like that color, I still pretty much liked appearance. Paint job was nicely done and quality and overall finishing is impressive.

They are not allowing test drive so can't comment on anything about ride experience.

Other thing to note that push start button is too small and looks odd on bike. Switches and its arrangement doesn't go well with brand CBR. Rest is excellent in terms of built, finishing and appearance. In my opinion, it looks better than CBR250R (150R feels like taller and exhaust is eye catching).
