I see. So it is just the reverse process that they have adopted. It seems to be a kind of public show of signing MoU. Now, they will appoint dealers (at least, 10) and simultaneously send 5-6 bikes for homologation. All this homologation, appointment and setting of dealer shop and service shop would take at least, 8-9 months at least. I know how much time is taken from deciding even colours, fabrics and wood micas to decorate a showroom and then get the showroom decorated physically, leave along other majors things like appointing staff, etc. A good indication for members here who were expecting something in a hurry. No the bike is yet to clear the homologation hurdle. Yesterday's event was just an official announcement that Garware Motors is here
So, by next Diwali, something concrete can be expected.

I can understand your feelings. Me being 5.4", I could feel the axe coming down when I saw that 830mm.Originally posted by crazy_NJ View PostI wish I were a lil more tall (I am 5.3")
.. because of the seat height (830mm), I can't even imagine to go for this the GT250R..
Wish they lower the seat height in India (atleast for the GT250R)...
I hope there is some way to reduce the saddle to 810mm. Then I'll put a 40mm block in my boots and off I'll go
..... good luck mate...

Wish they lower the seat height in India (atleast for the GT250R)...Hey, at the litre class drag race last time here in Shamshabad Airport, we saw one small kid in full race leathers walking up to take the crown. We thought he came instead of his father, but when he turned around, we found he was a middle aged man!Originally posted by ksameer View PostI can understand your feelings. Does this say something? He was riding a race modded R1 btw.
Coming to the GT650R, it has been tested with a 5'1" female rider on board&she found it pretty comfy. If I get the site, I will surely place the link here.
I think, as long as you have the skill of riding a bike, the size does not matter!Quench my thirst with gasoline!

where did the 250r come from
Once astride a bike the height doesn't matter that much is what I have experienced over a period of time.
& wherever you have issues get down ,pull the bike back with your hands, get up & ride off again

ps:ask amir khan about mens high heels shoes
