I am still gonna wait till the japs get their 600s. I would then decide. Though the Indian bike market is gonna buzz up for sure now.
A fact -- It takes more love to share the pillion seat, than to share the bed.

    • I think the engine might have been de-tuned for indian fuel quality.. Remember when the Octavia vRS got 150bhp in India when it had 190+ in Europe..? Same is the case with a lot of other launches that we have seen.. But, in the CORNER OF MY HEART, i am still hoping that what's put up on the website is a TYPO ERROR and that we'll get the Full Banana Split with some cherries on top.. OR, is it that Hyosung might have DETUNED the engine to give slightly more FE owing to the INDIAN CONSUMER MINDSET of "KITNA DETA HAI"..?

Ok...but its closest to one right? Its surely not a pure commuter nor a tourer either. Can we call it by the term TATA's christened ARIA ...a cross-over...darn these terms

P.S : Gourav, any sneak-peak on the pricing yet??

              ^This is not a speculation

              • It helps to remember that even the Jap bikes took a while to be readily accepted in the western world when they were first exported. The timing of Hyosung's designs on India couldn't be better. The Jap bikes will eventually come but with this whole Indo-Korean trade agreement already in place they have a clear head start in a non-existent segment and if they package their product/pricing/service well I see no reason why they won't make a killing. The market is just theirs for the taking, and going CKD, even better...

Even though I lust after a zx6r in a perfect world, I'd be perfectly content riding something like the 650r around town and even tour extensively with it. From what my friends in oz tell me, these are very versatile sport bikes although you wouldn't exactly call them supersports. Given our lack of great roads they may be just the ticket...Big bike feel with well behaved street manners.

Seeing the site up is very exciting indeed. It's going to be a very Happy Diwali for some I think...waiting with bated breath...

                          • why will anyone buy the st7 for 6.5l when harley 883 is available for 6.95l ?
though gt650r for under 5l seems promising.
