( All my personal thoughts, no offense )
No offence taken. It's no surprise that most people hate the VFR 1200/ CBR250 bulging nose design, including me too.

But, I don't think its bulging so much with the 600F.
See, the CBR 250 and VFR 1200 below has that distinct "pulled my nose" design which apparently very less people like:

Now, see this CBR's headlight area, doesn't it look much better?:-

Of course, if it releases we would have to ignore some points because we won't have much of a choice in the Inline4 600cc category... or will we?

That was a photoshop rumor which was circulating the net. Do you have any valid news/ proof of the info?

Gods forbid, such a thing happen. Fireblade is a beautiful machine and we better pray that they didn't screw it.

Thankfully there are no clear pics on net, so maybe this might turn a rumor only... Check them:

I don't have much issues with the front of both CBR 600 F and CBR 250 R. The sides are really ugly. Almost eats all the heavy look of bike and looks like something created with lots of colored pieces of plastic. I dont expect superbikes to look small and funny. Also i really don't like the new bike versions loosing big stylish exhausts and switching to almost invisible exhausts. Big exhausts gives a big look to bike which those invisible one can never.

And VFR, for me, its another bad design idea. Funny exhaust.

And yes, we can expect better to arrive , probably Yamaha R6.

              • ^^ i suppose the 600f and r6 are in totally different category. R6 competitor from from the honda stable is the 600rr. that would make it fair interms of cost, looks and importantly performance.

Also, is the 600f categorized as a tourer? How come with the aggressive handlebar-footpeg geometry?

Right, but we are talking abt I4 bikes in 600 category coming over to india. SO any bike type it can ve, sports, or tourer, will be compared. Just as Hysosung GT 650 R and Ninja 650 R compared.

For more information about type of bike 600F is , have a look here

                        Its a sports bike.
Just a correction: - Motorcycles | Honda (UK)

the CBF is labelled as a sports tourer. Just because it has a more comfortable riding stance and a less revving engine.

The CBR600RR is their sports bike(also called super sports), meant for best performance on track.
Strange, they also have the CBR125, and CBR250 in the same range

But can't we request Honda again to bring this bike into India? Honda have said if they see a good demand they might consider this bike. Can we atleast request them again? Is there any way we can have an online petition?

This is by far the best bike we Indians will have! It is the most perfect package for riding in India!

I read in some articles that Honda will be producing these in India and that this will be the largest displacement motorcycle produced in India by Honda. But I'm not sure whether the source is reliable. My guess is that they will atleast bring it in as CKD unit(like the Kwacker).

From what I read, they will be assembling (not producing) them in India by 2016. "Experts" suggest a CKD assembled motorcycle for around the same price as a Ninja 650.
