whats with the age of 30? I can show u 40yr olds who dont have any road sense, Who never wear helmet, dnt knw S of Safe riding and never follow traffic rules..Originally posted by airbase View Post@myg124:
precisely my thought too, attack the virgin 600 market, get market auto consultants gauge the enthusiasm, and bring it in a sane price level. cant get any better.
I cant fathom how on earth, our Govt. bars the sub 800cc bikes and allows import of supersport 1L machines, which are recipes of disaster with their monstrous power and prevailing road conditions.
what it should rather have done:
1> Allow sub 800CC, sub 120 bhp middle weights. (easy on pocket, and better for our road conditions)
2> a major revamp in issuing DL to youths, based on age factor, experience in-line with the US system. I can bet road sense would prevail.
e.g. in simple words, you can get a supersport DL only after 6 yrs of 2 wheelr driving experience and min. age of 30. I know it might sound autocratic, but i can vouch road rage would be drastically reduced.
O.T. sent you the reply with details.
U cant make a enthusiast wait till hez 30 to ride his dream machine. I wont wait till i am 30. I will grab my SBK at first opportunity and use it for my daily commutes. Aaahh!! that pleasure of riding ur R1 to office and back
.

Completely agree with that statement... Even old people whome you expect to have atleast 30 years of driving experience have no regards for anything... I have come across innumerable such people... Infact they are everywhere... lolOriginally posted by riot View Postwhats with the age of 30? A better thing would be to take rigorous tests for a DL... And renewable every 2 years instead of 20 years!!
I saw a CBR600f today in my area... It was in HRC colours... It sounded really nice... I couldn't click a snap because I was in a rush to get to the bank before they shut...
"stay hungry, stay foolish."
To those who have attitude... My middle finger salutes you...!

I live in mazagaon... Bombay... It might have been imported directly... Because that guy I think has a Hayabusa too... and I read 600f on the bike... Unable to bear the "state-of-not-having-this-bike" , I rang up and spoke with the PR/Corp. Communication personnel from HMSI. Had a 10 mins discussion with her, trying to explain how appropriate this bike could be for India.
The gist: Honda is not considering to bring this bike as of now, however its in their radar and might be considered in a couple of years. I have to wait.
P.S. The mail which I had sent before (refer my previous post), apparently seems to have reached some prominent persons in HMSI.Ride safe..wear helmet.

apparently, Honda is a very safe player.... look at how many years it took for them to enter into the performance biking category in India (not counting their Super-bikes over here).
probably they'll wait and study the response of the gt650r and the n650 and then maybe they'll think about it...

agree, however never in my life, had i experienced this sort of desperation and interest for a bike. The closest yet had been the Pagani Zonda (in the dream worldOriginally posted by skyknight19 View Postapparently, Honda is a very safe player.... look at how many years it took for them to enter into the performance biking category in India (not counting their Super-bikes over here).
