@myg124:
precisely my thought too, attack the virgin 600 market, get market auto consultants gauge the enthusiasm, and bring it in a sane price level. cant get any better.
I cant fathom how on earth, our Govt. bars the sub 800cc bikes and allows import of supersport 1L machines, which are recipes of disaster with their monstrous power and prevailing road conditions.
what it should rather have done:
1> Allow sub 800CC, sub 120 bhp middle weights. (easy on pocket, and better for our road conditions)
2> a major revamp in issuing DL to youths, based on age factor, experience in-line with the US system. I can bet road sense would prevail.
e.g. in simple words, you can get a supersport DL only after 6 yrs of 2 wheelr driving experience and min. age of 30. I know it might sound autocratic, but i can vouch road rage would be drastically reduced.
O.T. sent you the reply with details.Ride safe..wear helmet.

the grab rails are integrated into the rear section...there are recesses on the flanks that lead to the tail lights...Originally posted by ken cool View PostChrome Exhaust!!!! I thought that was the prerogative of cruisers! And that has been combined with the clips. Seating still "looks" aggressive. Hope it is less aggressive than the RR. Rear seat has no grab rails!
Claimed: 100 Bhp at 12000
Claimed: Seating more relaxed.
Claimed: Adjustable rebound, damping and preload!
Approved
Thanks Simba.

They are preparing usOriginally posted by airbase View PostBajaj-Kawi and Hyosung have already taken the plunge.
Now what is Honda is thinking about and what is holding them back from launching this ideal sports bike, in India?
Please wake up from the slumber, you folks at HMSI!!

Can you please explain what you mean? How can they 'prepare' us?Originally posted by myg124 View PostThey are preparing us
We're damn ready and prepared to purchase a CBF600F ABS, if they launch here. HMSI are the ones who are not prepared...
It took these lethargic people 6-8 years just to properly update their 150cc Unicorn. Stop having expectations people...

hey Samarth, as i see these Jap blokes are very tough nut to crack. They will launch a bike only when they foresee, it would rake in high moolahs for them. Garware & Bajaj have done. What for are they waiting?Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostCan you please explain what you mean? How can they 'prepare' us?

HMSI take my advice (and i wont charge for it): There is not a single inline 4 sportsbike in the 400-1000 category right now in India. its a virgin territory, and hit it now. dont rest your lazy a**es like a dumb. Kudos for bringing in the CBR250F (sorry fellas, this bike is not praiseworthy getting the R suffix), but dont rest on that for ever.Ride safe..wear helmet.

Samarth: As I see, man they are preparing us. It may take another 5-8 years to bring the 600. The prime reason being the sub 800cc rule of the govt which allows our manufacturers to try and make a 600 here rather than importing it. God help us! Am really freaking tired of the 200cc zone now. Enough is enough."Never recreate from your memory, always imagine new places"

Can't say about India, but I'm damn ready! And there must be many guys like me, who want fast+practical enough kind of bike.Originally posted by myg124 View PostI second you. Good give them some brains please!

Got some property deals done, and have some money saved up, plus dad will help me.
Even if this makes it in 6L, I can try to arrange for it.
Heck, it would be the cheapest inline 4 and that too practical enough. They might as well start Indian production and get away profitably with it!
@ airbase: Totally agree with you there... Hope the e-mail reaches them, and drills some sense into them.---

Add me too, to the list. I could even take a loan to get this bike. But, sometimes I wonder if at all Honda is getting an impression, that there is a market for practical and cheap bikes.
I do not mind if it delivers arnd 80-90 bhp (would rather luv it, as I am not a lover of insane bhp figures), high handle positioning and rear grab rails.
I want a fast tourer and it should sound good. Honda, bring it on!Ride safe..wear helmet.
